'Ohana honey lime dressing

I made the honey lime dressing from 'Ohana last night and it was so good, I was right back there for a moment. I wasn't sure how it would taste but it was so easy and tastes just like the dressing in the restaurant. Next time I might cut it in half but that's the only thing I would change about it.

If you like that salad you need to try this.

'Ohana Honey Lime Dressing

Ingredients

1/2 C honey
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 C cider vinegar
1/4 C lime juice
1/4 C diced onion
1 C canola oil

Method:

Place all ingredients except oil in food processor and blend until
smooth. Slowly add oil until it is well incorporated into the
dressing. Makes 2 Cup.

No characters.. but one time we went and there was a Hawiian woman singing.. it was pretty cool. The kids also got to participate in a coconut race.

No characters like daisee and DT said, but they do have coconut races, hula contests, konga line complete with tables of spinning napkins and usually a hawaiin person singing with that mini guitar thingy that I can't spell..lol

Does this dressing go on green salad, or fruit salad? It sounds terrific!

Re: 'Ohana honey lime dressing

Hmmm ... youse guys are making me think I need to change my reservation (if I can still get one) from Park Faire to Ohana. We went to the Park Faire buffet last time, the kids loved it. But, DH & I went to Maui last Fall (w/o the kids) and we've gotten nothing but grief for it. It was a short 3-day trip! Business related! Anyway, it's not hawaii, but ohana sounds nice, fun for kids ... yes?

(ETA: do I sound like a wussy parent, or what? LOL Seriously, we had such a wonderful time in Maui, if there's any way to share that with the kids until we can actually go in a few years, that would be cool)

Re: 'Ohana honey lime dressing

We ate here last Sunday and it was wonderful! Thanks for the recipe! I will definitely try to make it. We had fun- the kids did a coconut race, the limbo and a konga line with maracas! There was a man running the show and singing-the lady was not there.

Green salad, Miss D.

Although you could leave out the onion if you wanted to use it for fruit.

And for anyone who might be interested, it's U-K-E-L-E-L-E.
