How much time should we allow for dinner at Victoria and Alberts?

Thanks

Re: Grand Floridian Dinner

I think the CM I spoke with said 2-2 1/2 hours for the experience.

Ah hahaha!! Good call! I also found out that when I called originally, the CM was wrong about the wine pairing pricing. I was told $45 additional and it's actually $60. :::sigh:::

Re: Grand Floridian Dinner

If you can take 1 1/2-2 hours at California Grill, Narcoossee's, and Flying Fish, 2-2 1/2 hours sounds right for V&A.

Re: Grand Floridian Dinner

Allow at least two hours.

Depending on
- how you pace the meal
- how many courses you have
- whether or not you have the wine pairings

it could easily run closer to three. But whatever you do, don't try to rush through it in order to get to something else afterwards. Plan to take your time and make the most of the experience; it's well worth it.

Re: Grand Floridian Dinner

I made our reservations for 5:30pm anticipating that we'd eat slower and linger with our wine longer (and we're talkie people) than the recommended 2-2 1/2 hours. I'm planning to go for a cocktail at CG to watch Wishes after and that's not until 9pm. I wanted a slow, relaxed evening for our anniversary. We'll be running around the rest of the week and this is a nice break in that.

Don't forget the time it'll take to PHOTOGRAPH EVERYTHING before you eat it.

Re: Grand Floridian Dinner

Tara, you might consider, depending on time, just watching Wishes from the Grand Floridian's dock instead of trying to get upstairs to Cali Grill. Remember that you'll be trying to get a monorail, which will add 15-20 minutes, then you need to go down to the second floor in the Contemporary and get them to grant you access to the 15th floor.

Re: Grand Floridian Dinner

LOL I know I'll have to photograph all our food and report back!

Soundgod, I considered that and it's still a possibility. It'll just depend on when we get done. We'll play that by ear. All Disney plans are tentitive....never know what will actually happen! :)
