Which of these 3 Epcot restaurants would you choose?

Okay so I'm VERY torn between which of these to choose for October 2008 trip (choices at bottom). I've looked at all the menus but I still just don't know which one I want. We are not doing the DDP in October (but $$ doesn't matter) we just won't be doing as many TS meals as DH and my dad say they want a break from all the rigid schedules. (Yes this is totally against my nature but I've been in complete control of all the other trips and this time I'm listening to their opinions) Anywho, so which would you choose for a group of 5 adults, 7 y/o DD, almost 2 DS. (These ages are at time of travel)

Garden Grill
Coral Reef
Rose & Crown

There are great things for each. I like the fish and chips at the R&C and the fact you can score a great seat for Illuminations.

Re: Which of these 3 Epcot restaurants would you choose?

Well, I think you have narrowed it down to the only 3 restaurants I HAVEN'T eaten at in Epcot!!
We are doing Garden Grill and Coral Reef this trip-I have heard good things about each of them. But with the kids, I think I am going to vote for Garden Grill- it is a character meal and it spins-lots of things to look at and see.

We have eaten at Rose & Crown. The Bangers and Mash were really good. The kids however, did not care for the food at all. We have not eaten at the Coral Reef. We had ADR's for Garden Grill because I had heard such great reviews.. we went, sat down, looked at the menu and I was so UNimpressed that we decided to go someplace else. I felt for the price I could do better.. JMO.

The Coral Reef gets my vote. Very tasty food served in a classy atmosphere... if you go, get the lobster soup - it's like buttah...

Re: Which of these 3 Epcot restaurants would you choose?

haven't been to any of them. we debated over doing coral reef, but decided against it. we dumped out rose and crown adr (just didn't hit the spot when we looked at menus) and i agree with Daisee on garden grill - just not enought to justify the credit/$ to me. if we are doing a character (non princess) i'd go for chef mickey or LTT.

so....i am no help at all!! of those 3, i'd lean towards coral reef (though that would be ignoring mickeymotto's review)!

YES KEEP THE PARK FARE ADR! It really is a great meal. They are awesome with birthdays also. At least they were for DDs 5th. The trip in October of next year is for her 8th birthday. I'm sure we will be doing it again.

After looking at the kids menu for Rose again I'll probably rule it out and maybe get some fish and chips at the CS there. SO now it is down to Coral Reef or Garden Grill.

We love the Garden grill. We had yet another great meal there this past trip. We went for lunch, and everything was top notch.

Re: Which of these 3 Epcot restaurants would you choose?

Rose & Crown is the only one we haven't eaten at and the other two are very good. You can't go wrong with any of them but to pick it would be Coral Reef

I would pick the Garden Grill. Especially if the kids in your party are picky eaters. :)
