Seating arrangements?

Hi Gang! Okay can you tell me which restaurants have specific or awkward seating arrangements??

Like, Sci-Fi and Teppanyaki, how many do they seat?? Any more out there??

Thanks in advance,

AMY

I know that The Biergarten seats you in long tables with other families.

Thats the only other one I know about.

Even though we really like the Sci Fi, the seating is a little strange especially if you go with a large group. I believe the cars fit 4 comfortably but since it is a car, the two people in front are not facing the people in back. Makes it hard to hold a conversation!

Despite this fact, we really still like the whole experience. Maybe conversation is overrated!:hmmm

ok .. now they may have taken them out but Sci-fi does or did have tables ..but with the movie clips going on well that can make it hard to hold a conversation.

We were actually there in September '02 and it seemed like all the seats were the car style. It was dark though so we may have missed other types of seating.

Although I really love the food, I do not care for the seating arrangements at The Biergarten. The tables seat 8 people and you have to sit with other people you don't know. That is not a problem in and of itself unless you sit at the wrong end of the table. Then, if you get up to go to the buffet, you have to keep asking a complete stranger to move so that you can get by. Food is great...seating is awkward.:)

My mother and I always insist on sitting at the end of the tables because we don't want to constantly ask people to move when we go to Biergarten.

We met some really nice folks who are also DVC members last time we went. Had a wonderful chat & since we were chatting it wasn't at all awkward to get up because we had developed at least a temporary relationship. Just my 2 cents worth...

I am making our PS for Sci-Fi lunch tomorrow, and the kids really want to sit in the cars.

I need to know how many one car fits.
We have a party of 7, does that mean we'll get stuck at a table? Or should I tell them we have 6 and squeeze the kids together?:dazed

Does anyone know?

Thanks:)

Amy

The largest car seats 6 but you may be able to fit Kathleen in with two others. If she would sit still she would fit with the boys. If not it might be tight but I think it may work. Sitting in the cars is part of the fun so I hope it works out.

Teppanyaki seats 8 at each table/grill. They fill all the seats at each one, so you may have to sit with strangers if there are less than 8 in your party. The seats are arranged around three sides of the grill, leaving the front open for the chef. The food here was really delicious, and it is the only place my kids are insisting on going back to on our next trip.

We had 7 in our group also, my parents sat in the "back seat" Keith and I in the middle and the 3 kiddo's sat up front and were fine (not cramped at all!)

It was a fun restaurant one you should enjoy!!!!:D

see you the 22nd at noon-ish!! ( I know 12:30 but I am always late so....)
