Fantasmic Dinner Package

Any advise on which restaurant to choose for Dinner Package? I was leaning towards H&V but now may go for Mama Melrose - any opinions? We'll be with a 3 yr old. Also, what do you think the chances are that they'll add 50's Prime Time to Fantasmic Package? Also, why do they keep saying we "may extend package, but so far its only booking until 6/30/03"? What's the big deal? 2 years ago we did this package at Mama Melrose's so I know its not a new plan. :hmmm

We went with Hollywood Brown derby and are bringing our 2-year old. I'll let you know how it was.
I'm unsure of whats going on with the package. I had to call many times before they "extended" it. I know some people that went beforre me and the same thing - they keep extending it.
I was hoping for 50's PT also. We are going to do that on another night.

Thanks Buzz - I look forward to hearing your reviews!!! Have a great trip! BC was actually my 1st choice hotel, but it wasn't available during my stay. The pool looks soooo cool!!

We did the fantasmic dinner package 1 1/2 weeks ago. We had 6:10 PS for H and V. We took our time eating the buffet, then still had time to see Beauty and the Beast, and to ride R and R coaster again before it was time to be seated for the 9:00 show. Our seats were quite close to the back..which was really a good thing. We could see beautifully. (last time we stupidly sat up front and were totally blinded by the spray from the water screens). The added bonus of sitting near the back was that we were able to scoot right out when it was over and catch the first bus to our resort without having to wait in line. It was awesome!

thanks for the report! This is one of the most anticipated events for us this trip, we have 6 pm PS also. Looks like it will work out great!
