Why are all the restaurants booked for this Tuesday?

Something strange is going on. It's not free dining time and it's a very low crowd period. Yet, I am having problems getting reservations for restaurants I've never had problems getting. I've gotten Crystal Palace breakfast reservations the morning of. I've never had problems getting into 1900 Park Fair or Narcoossee's. And yet, it seems anything I can think of for this Tuesday is gone.
Does anyone else find this strange?

Not until later in the week, but yes, Mousefest is this week.
It is possible that's skewing things a bit.

I know my friends are going this weekend, and they have FREE $50 dining cards for each night they stay . . . the price changed depending on the level hotel! ($25/value, $50/moderate, etc) It was a Passholder thing, not sure when it started . . . do you think that could be it?

Update: Things were indeed strange. On Tuesday morning I was able to get Kona Cafe for breakfast at 10:30 that morning, which was the time I wanted, but was unable to get. There were plenty of tables available. I had been told previously that there was nothing at that time. In the afternoon, I was able to get Narcoossee's at 5:40 after being previously told nothing was available before 8 PM. Again, there were empty tables all during our time there between 5:40 and 7:30.
In both cases I cancelled out my existing reservations. Breakfast at Cape May and dinner at Artist Point.
I had one dining CM tell me falsely that guests were unable to make more than one reservation for any meal on any day and there was no way they could make multiple reservations because the system would kick out the second request.
I had another dining CM tell me on Tuesday that the first one didn't know what she was talking about because people do in fact make multiple reservations all the time and never cancel any of them. This means tables do sit empty and people are left out in the cold all the time.
Now for the kicker, the Christmas party on Tuesday Dec. 4 was sold out!
I find that really strange, and even stranger that there would be a 15 minute wait for Haunted Mansion at 11:30.

I got told that you couldn't have 2 reservations for the same meal myself.... I wonder if that is true or not...
Actually, now that I write this- I did get to book 2... The CM let me because I had to call and see which place the group would prefer- she did it and then explained that they are not supposed to.

(I love when I remember things on the fly- makes my posts very hard to follow- huh!)
