Flame Tree?
I ran across a note someplace that said the Flametree Barbecue was no longer open.
Can anyone confirm? If true, then it's a shame...since I do love a good platter of barbecue (and since it's a vacation, could probably get away with making a pig of myself). Any suggestion for alternate sources of smokey goodness? |

It is my understanding that it is only open seasonaly, and is used dependent upon the number of people Disney expects in the parks on a certain day. It has been closed every time I have been to Animal Kingdom. I know that it was open over the Easter holiday. The other choice that I would consider is Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge. All you can eat BBQ, fun atmosphere and all you can eat.
