Re: San Angel Restaurant @ Mexico - What was your experience?

We'll be eating here in Sept. at my step-dad's request. I looked at the menu the last time we were in there. We have really good and affordable Mexican restaurant right near us, so I hope we enjoy it. I am reading the mixed reviews here, but I have learned that opinions vary and I will post mine after we eat there.

Re: San Angel Restaurant @ Mexico - What was your experience?

We were there for dinner in early December. It was just okay. The dinner menu did not have as much to chose from as I remembered. The portions were small...especially for the price. I ended up just having a salad. Not even a taco salad. Just a greens salad. I saw more things on the lunch menu that appealed to me than on the dinner menu. When I asked if I could order from the lunch menu they said no. My son had the kids chicken which unfortunately made him sick later in the evening.

We won't be going back to that restaurant.

Been twice and it was so so both times.

We've got real mexican here at home and it's better. My steak was cooked to death.

It is a disappointment to me.
