Where is The Wave
Hi,
Saw this today: >>The Wave, a new restaurant that will be opening in Walt Disney World's Contemporary Resort, will be boasting and unusual wine cellar, according to Orlando Sentinel. << Where in the Contemporary will this be?? Hopefully, they are not changing California Grill?? Frank |

It's going in where Concourse Steakhouse was.
The Wave at the Contemporary now accepting reservations The Wave, the new restaurant opening at The Contemporary, is now accepting reservations for dining starting June 30, 2008. Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE. |

It is going in where the old "Food and Fun Center" was on the first floor. So if you were to walk in the front door of the Contemporary it will be just past the front desk and to the left.

They closed that a few years back. Moved the arcade to one of the shops on the concourse and created "Contempo To Go" next to the bar to pick up the slack from the loss of the F&F Center CS location. Now that The Wave is going to open downstairs, they will trash out the Concourse Steakhouse and create a new permanent "Contempo To Go" CS area, and possibly slightly increase Chef Mickey's seating area. It's probably not going to be a 2 credit signature, as Concourse was only one credit and it makes more sense to maintain that status quo for Contemporary's dining options. Call it a gut feeling.
