I need a table service around MK!

Ok I need to make dining reservations tonight and I need a table service restaurant in or around MK. We are going to do Kona for breakfast one morning and we have done Cali Grill and loved it but we are using two ts credits for Jiko. So, we have thought about 1900 Park Fare, Tony's or Liberty Tree. We need some opinions! Thanks!

So, wait, do you need a counter service like Pecocs Bills or a table service like the ones you mentioned above?

There are some great counter services in Mk. We like to go to Cosmic rays, Pecos Bills and village Haus. Here is a site that will give you all the counter sevices for MK.

It's OK lucky for you this is my moderating section..I'll fix it.

For a table service we actually really loved The Grand Floridian Cafe! They had this amazing sandwich that was open faced turkey and covered with the crazy amazing cheese! It was heavenly. And it wasn't too expensive either, and it was practically empty so it was a nice getaway from MK for a little while.
I was unimpressed with Tony's. It really was just OK and there are so many other places around MK that are good. I've never done 1900 Park Fare. And LTT is great!

The link that I give also has the table services on it too. It was very helpful for me when DH and I were planning ADRS.

Re: I need a table service around MK!

Thanks for fixing my mistake Cinderbella! We have done Liberty Tree before and we liked it. We are on free dining this time so we thought we would try some new places, but it is still an option for us.

Re: I need a table service around MK!

What about Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary or Ohana at the Poly? We are trying both of them during free dining (the same dates that you are there, RLB; 8/30-9/5!!).

1900 Park Fare was fabulous, not your typical "buffet fare" in my opinion, and the characters were great! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and character interaction; highly recommended! Oh, and the service was great, even brought out a big plate of FF for DS (the picky eater), after overhearing our conversation about not having anything on the buffet that he eats... The Disney Touch....

Re: I need a table service around MK!

I'll also make the suggestion for Grand Floridian Cafe. We ate there last year and loved it. It was a last minute add on to our ADRs. One of those panicy situations where we were missing an ADR for one night and couldn't get into anywhere we wanted. Someone here at MouseBuzz suggested the Grand Floridian Cafe and we loved it.

We found the food to be great, the restaurant was quiet and very pretty.

It was also a great opportunity to get to see The Grand Floridian. After supper we walked around the resort a little and took some nice pictures down on the beach.

I would highly recommend it!

Ohana at Poly is a must for us too. In the evening request to sit by the big windows and you can see the lights on the castle. The food is awesome, service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you have little ones with you, there is entertainment for them in the restaraunt to keep them occupied so you can really enjoy yourself.

Re: I need a table service around MK!

Liberty Tree Tavern is my favorite at Magic Kingdom... (I've actually eaten at every MK table service restaurant!) Dinner is character dining and lunch is without characters. The food is great, though, and I don't find the characters to be a necessity.

Tony's is great at parade time, though... especially during Spectro.

Re: I need a table service around MK!

If you don't mind leaving MK then I would go to 1900 Park Fare. The food is very good and I just love having a variety to choose from. Tony's is fine if you're in the mood for Italian.
