ADR question

Quick question....

We are arriving late on Nov 20 and staying at the POP that night. So we have a room-only for that night.
The next day Nov 21 we are moving to the Poly for the rest of the trip and that's when our dining plan starts.

so...we are officially checking into a Disney hotel on the 20th but won't be making any ADRs for that night (since we arrive so late).
My question is...can I make my ADRs 180 days from the day we arrive or 180 days from the day of my 1st ADR? Hope that made sense!

Re: ADR question

To my understanding you can make ADRs 180 days from the first day of your reservation. While you are staying at a different WDW resort on your first night that does not matter it is the first day of your vacation.

Good Luck.

Re: ADR question

I have been able to make all the ADRs from 180 days from our arrival. Even when staying off-property. However, I also have been told that I could only make ADRs 180 days out from the day I want to eat. It may depend on the CM you get when you call in.

Re: ADR question

We just went through this. You can make ADRs up to 180 days from the day you first check in, through 10 days past that date. If you aren't staying on-site, it's 180 days from the day you want the ADR for.

You can make them for up to 10days 180 days away from your arrival date. It doesn't matter which reservation you are on...they do ask if you are on the DDP at the beginning of the call, but they don't know when you get there whether you are or aren't...they always ask me when I get there too..lol
