I tried to get an ADR for our June trip but everything was booked. I've never been..... maybe next time.

Our Favorites are the Rose & Crown (which we've never needed ressies for) and Raglan Road, but I've heard so much about Le Cellier that I made ressies there for this trip. The only time they could get us in was lunch at 2 different tables (There's 6 of us). It'll be interesting to see how it is! Usually we just sit ouside of Canada, drink hot cider & watch Illuminations...

I thought Le Cellier was very good, but not so unusual as to warrant this much hoopla. What's the big deal with it in the past couple of years? Do you think it's because it has become so hard to get that it just entices more people to go now?

I think this is definitely part of it. It does get a lot of attention on the boards.

I thought I also saw somewhere that it only sat 150 at a time. This is not really that many people. That could be another reason they book so fast.

I think that's part of it. I also think it's that it's only 1 credit on the dining plan and it looks small. We've eaten there a few times and the food and service are both good. It's not a must do for us but we hit it every other trip or so.

When I was there last week I overheard a diner at a table near us talking to his server about how he could only get lunch reservations and could never seem to get in for dinner at all (we were there for a late lunch). The server said to show up a few minutes before 4 when dinner service starts and see if you can get in then.

As we were leaving we overheard cast members at the hostess desk helping people who were trying to walk up in get in to find a different restaurant to eat at. They had menus from a bunch of other World Showcase places so I am guessing that they weren't even taking walk ins right at 4 that day.

We enjoyed our meal there!
