Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I feel so luck I got my ADR there -- I made it @ 120 days out. I'm looking forward to eating there; it will be my first time, so we'll see if it lives up to the hype.

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

Our first meal of the vacation has been Le Cellier two years in a row. We enjoyed our lunch there last Monday; it was one of the best meals of our whole trip (another being Coral Reef!) We haven't been for dinner yet, as I've only ever been able to get lunch reservations, but I can't imagine dinner could be better than lunch! We love Le Cellier!

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

That must be for dinners only. The menu is a little bit larger and there are some things that you can't get for lunch that are exceptional. I got my lunch reservation in two weeks at LeCellier and only booked it last week..

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

We just booked our trip for August, and I'm still working on my ADRs. LC was one we wanted to try this year, and I knew it might be tough to get in, but we may not get it all. I am glad to hear that some are getting lunch ADRs here. That's really what I was leaning towards time wise because waiting for dinner is tough for my kids!

I have been baffled by this for years. Im guessing that it started when the dining plan came out. LE Cellier was one of the best values for the plan, with individual dinners approaching $70 total. All of the Epcot restaurants got busier. Then as ADR's dried up for Le Cellier, buzz created a sort of frenzy that has fed upon itself.

Its a good meal, with some nice touches but IMHO not so special to warrant such mania.

This place is a MUST DO for us each and every trip. It has been for YEARS. The signature Le Cellier Mushroom Filet (served at dinner) is probably THE BEST steak I've ever had...YUM!

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I just called this morning (which was 180 days) and was able to book it for my anniversary dinner. I was so excited to be able to get it. I had both mine and my DH's cell phones calling into the Dining line at exactly 7:00am Florida time. Mine got through right away and I was able to book for 6:15 on November 4. WHOOO HOOO!!!

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I think you have to get one of the red meat dishes to really appreciate LeCellier. Now, if you aren't a huge fan of filet, strip or prime rib, I can understand it not being a favorite. If you have the appetite for it and start with the cheese soup and can finish it with the maple creme brulee, plus are a big steak fan, you will love this place. The buffalo steak at Artist Point and Oak Grilled filet at Jiko are the only ones I have found to be the equal. Of course, I have never eaten at Victoria and Albert's, but, I sure would love to when they are serving the Kobe beef.

I think you're right...my mom ordered the chicken dish when she came with us one trip, and said it was "EH". However, we all ordered steak (different cuts) and each one of us LOVED our meals. For the record, I can NEVER finish dessert! But the Maple Creme Brulee is delish...as is the Smores dessert! YUM!!!!!!!

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I agree that ordering steak is the key here. I love, love, love the filet here. The filet at Le Cellier and the filet at California Grill are two of the best I have had in my life.

Plus cheddar cheese mashed potatoes - yum!
