Re: TRex?
[quote=gatour]It is in Downtown Disney next to the McDonald's. It is a sister restaurant concept to Rainforest Cafe. Here is a link to its website.

Re: TRex?
I take it that this is not a Disney owned restaurant. Will the dining plan apply?

Re: TRex?
What doesn't make sense to me is that it's located in DD, don't you think the theme is much better suited for AK?

Re: TRex?
We have a T-Rex by us. The food is about on the same line as Rainforest. The decor is pretty cool. Our booth was in the shape of an oyster shell. The dinosaurs did scare my three year old niece, though.

Re: TRex?
TRex is owned by Landry's Inc who own Rainforest, Yak and Yeti, Landry's Seafood, Crab House and some others. I dont think it will be included on the dining plan as they are planning on having staff float b/w TRex and Rainforest (thats what my Rainforest server said yesterday.) Resturants not owned by Disney lose TONS of money by being on DDP.

Sorry, I only think in the terms of WDW. We never ever leave disney property so I have never been to that other Orlando theme park that in my heart doesn't exist.

Re: TRex?
After visiting the mouse house on 10-11 May, Sept may be do-able but Oct may be more realistic.
The walls were up, and a bit of theming was being shored up on one part of the wall. Think that if you were putting stucco on the side of your house which requires new framing. In regards to T-Rex they are putting up the first part of the framing on top of the new wall. |
