TRex?

I read something about a restaurant, TRex opening up somwhere in WDW.

Anyone have info?

Hi Buzz --

Yes, it is being built at DTD, and here is a link to construction pics:

I have heard it is going to be similar to Rainforest Cafe, but with dinosaur theming.

It is in Downtown Disney next to the McDonald's. It is a sister restaurant concept to Rainforest Cafe. Here is a link to its website.

It's not far along, so I would guess it won;t be open too soon. But hey, maybe WDW has mystical construction crews that appear overnight and wave magic wands over the work site, or something like that... LOL

This place looks very cool! Our DS will love it. I hope it will be completed by fall.

I thought I saw a sign when we were there last month. I seem to recall Fall 2008, but I'm not certain.

I like their choices of food. Nice menu. Hope it taste better that the Rainforest.

Walls were up, but I don't think they were working on a roof yet 3 weeks ago.
Based on delays at both Yak and Yeti and Japan, I'd give them a good month's buffer from the expected opening to the actual opening.

I hope when they say Fall 2008 that it is before I go in October. It looks like a cool place to go. I like the menu.

Yep, I was at DtD this evening, sorry my camera battery died. The sign definitely says Fall 2008. It doesn't look like much at the moment.
