Dining Dilemma!!

As you can tell from my ticker we are less than 30 days from our Disney vacation.
We planned this vacation in January and thought we were going around other events in our lives.
DW and I decided that we were going to try and keep expenses down so we only were looking for 2 ADR's:

- Lunch at LeCellier on Tuesday 5/27
- Dinner at Boma on Wednesday 5/28

We plan to use counter service or eat in our villa for the rest of the meals.

Our 3 daughters are in dance and they have a showcase at the end of each year. Our youngest, who is 4, has ballet but her showcase is just in the studio for parents. We were told that this would be the week after we get back. Well we just found out that it is the week we are gone. The original sheet had a misprint on it.
We live about an hour away so DW said she would drive back on Monday night then she and Susannah would go to her dance on Tuesday then they would drive back to WDW to meet the rest of the family.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Susannah dance but DW and I talked it over and decided that she would video the dance so I can see it and I would stay with the other 3 kids.
Now the dilemma............
DW loves LeCellier, and our ADR is for Tuesday at lunch and DW probably will not be back in time due to the dance. I would love to change the time but you know how booked LeCelier is so this is probably going to be impossible.
What to do??
Do I need to call and change our ADR from 6 to 4?
Ask if it can be pushed back? (Yeah Right!!!!)
Do I keep it and hope DW gets their in time? We are not sure what time Susannah's dance is yet.
Do I cancel and try for another somewhere else when all 6 of us are together??

What to do??

Re: Dining Dilemma!!

Keep the ADR as it is. Worst case scenario is that she doesn't make it back in time and you have to eat someplace else.

Well I guess since you have no idea what time her dance is.. it would be hard to know when to reschedule your ADR should they allow it. In my opinion, I would keep the time you have. If they are back in time, great! If not, enjoy your lunch.

Re: Dining Dilemma!!

The only stupid question is the one that is never asked....

Call and see if they could push it up. 3:00, 4:00 are not to popular of times. The worst they can say is no then you will be in the same position you are in.

If you can not change the time, keep it till tuesday morning and play DW schedule by ear, she may just make it. If she does not make it then I would go there on another trip. It gives you another excuse to get to WDW!

I agree and also once you find out what time the dance is, you can plan a little better. Good luck!
