Lunch at GF

Hi All,
I'm new here, so your advice is much appreciated. I have heard that eating lunch at one of the monorail resorts is a great way to break up the day at the MK. So I was thinking that lunch at the GF would be quite nice, and a great excuse for checking out the hotel. But in doing some research it seems that there are few lunch time options there. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Welcome to Disney Central. I believe there are only 2 choices: The Grand Floridian Cafe which offers a nice menu or the Garden View Lounge which serves a full afternoon tea (2-4:30). As far as I know 1900 Park Fare only serves b-fast & dinner. Two totally different choices so perhaps that will make the decision easier.

I tried going to the GF Cafe for lunch this past MArch and it was not serving lunch.

You could try the Poly's Kona Cafe. I know for sure they serve lunch.

If you're looking for a sit-down lunch to break up your day at the MK, try the Liberty Tree Tavern or Tony's. Both have good food and you'd have a nice break from your touring. Going to the resorts for lunch would take extra time away from your MK day unecessarily. Just having a sit-down lunch in the MK would give you the break you are looking for.
