I have never eaten at the Plaza or Tony's Town Square in the MK.

I want to PS one of them for our next trip....I know, I know...I have PLENTY of time!:D

Anyway, our kids will be 8, 6, and 3 ....I was thinking of Tony's for the Lady and the Tramp decor and MM shaped pizzas

Or, The Plaza because, well, is the food better there?
We do have quite a few character meals planned also.

I wish I could help you, however, we are doing both for lunch 2 different days on our July trip. I have never been to The Plaza so I wanted to try it for something new and my MIL wanted Tony's. We enjoyed lunch at Tony's the last time we we at WDW so we thought we would try it again. Can you fit both in?

I'll let you know how both are. We are also going to go to the following:
Day 1 Chef Mickey's for dinner
Day 2 Counter service for lunch (we plan to go to ESPN) and not sure about dinner as we have an Illuminations cruise planned
Day 3 The Plaza for lunch and 'Ohana for dinner
Day 4 Fulton's for dinner for our 10th anniversary
Day 5 Breakfast at Chef Mickey's and Mickey's Backyard BBQ dinner
Day 6 50's PT for dinner
Day 7 Lunch at Tony's

I don't know how many PS are too many. I try for one sit down meal per day and one counter service per day with breakfast in the room or a quick stop at the food court.

Any other places I need to try to fit in????

And yes, I am excited. Now that school is out I can plan full time!!!:D

I'm an Italian food snob. My mother makes it 10 times better than any restaurant,so I voted for The Plaza. I had lunch there on Monday(May 26th),and the hamburger was the greatest!!!

Tony's just has regular food, and depending on where they seat you the decor of the restaurant is totally different, BUT the Plaza has ice cream. Did I mention ice cream?? 'Cause they have ice cream!!! Lovely wonderfully to die for cookies and cream milkshakes... They serve sandwiches etc. too. I would think this would definitely be the place to take your kids for lunch. A quick hamburger/hot dog kids meal, and then a wonderful ice cream something for desert to tide them over until the fireworks. :)

We just had lunch at the plaza on our last trip. The food was awesome. DH had the club sandwich and it was huge two people could have eaten from it. By the way the plaza appears to be sort of a fancy place but we had DD with us and it was very kid friendly, our waiter (can't remember his name) was great with DD he played peek-a-boo with her and brought her stickers and everything, also when we got our bill it didn't cost much more than counter service would have been for the 3 of us. I highly recommend the Plaza.

The plaza is right off of Main Street. If you are walking towards the castle take your first right as if to go to tomorrow land and there it is.

Tony's used to be a can't miss place for us 'cause L&T is DH's favorite movie. But last time it really seemed to have gone downhill, so I voted for Plaza. Did someone say "ICE CREAM?":whistle: :whistle:

Happy annicersary to you and your DH as well.

We have been to 'Ohana before and loved it. We are doing the BBQ for the first time this year, I'll let you know how it goes.

We have never done an IllumiNations cruise before. We are going to surprise my DIL with it. I like to try new things on each trip and this is one of them.

I hope to post a trip a trip report when I get back.
