Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I spoke to Emily yesterday and she told me that Le Cellier does not have any reservations for the next 6 months. If it's on your list, try calling daily for cancellations. If you can't get a reservation, show up at the restaurant a half hour before lunch or dinner service - they usually try to take about 5 walk-ins for both. And please don't get mad at the hostess - a lot of times it's my kid.

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

Is this considered a regular restaurant...meaning do you book the same time as every other restaurant (180 days out or whatever it is?)

Yes...180 days....same as all the rest.

I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. We got reservations for May 30 for lunch. Just made the reservation 20 days ago too. This will be our first time eating there.

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

Now I'm more than thrilled to get a dinner reservation for our trip in August, although I did call exactly at our 180 day mark.

We are eating lunch there for the first time in May. I'm anxious to see what the fuss is all about myself.

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I'm glad I got my October ressie all tied up. I always feel so bad for the hostesses when people walk up and get so angry when they can't get in. Its not the hostesses fault :-(

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

There are always cancellations too the day you want to go there. So there is a really good chance that you will get in at some point during the day. If you go during off times.

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

We usually eat at The Garden Grille when in Epcot, but now I am wondering if I need to try to get an ADR here?!? Is the food really that great?

Ok - it's NOT because I'm Canadian and it's NOT because my kid works there - but I really do think the food is great. It's my husband's favourite (and he's darn picky). I can honestly say we've never had a bad meal. Some people feel the portions are too small, but I'm constantly overwhelmed by the HUGE portions at WDW and to me it's so much more enjoyable to not be so stuffed you feel sick. Basically, it's very simple steakhouse food, prepared very well. Alberta beef makes the difference!

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

I LOVE Le Cellier and I'm not surprised. I think it is one of, if not the best deal on the DDP. I'm positive if it was removed from the DDP it would not be as popular.

Re: Le Cellier Is Booked for 6 Months

We love Le Cellier. I agree the portions are smaller. The food is very good. We haven't had a bad meal their either. As I said on another post. The only place in WDW that we did have a really bad experience with is Marrakesh. Terrible food. You should definitely try it once. It also receives very high marks on AllEars.net Review Page - Le Cellier Lunch/Dinner - Powered by ReviewPost It received a 9.19 rating. I think that is the highest or close to it.
