Dinner and lunch ressies(just added Cindys )

I don't know if I got lucky or what but they had a 9:30pm slot available for Cindys on the 11th so I took it. Here are my other dining ressies for me and dh

6th WHispering Canyon 5:00pm dinner
7th Sci-Fi lunch----- FDP@ Hollywood and Vine 7:00pm dinner
8th Boma's 6:00pm dinner
9th Ohana 6:00pm dinner
10th Jiko 5:30pm dinner
11th Cindys Royal Castle 9:30pm dinner
12th ?Citywalk Probably

Any lunch ideas and opinions on Mickeys BBQ and Hoop Dee Doo ( which one would you choose)are appreciated. Another thing, are the characters at Cindys during dinner time.

It sounds like you have made some nice dining plans. I love 'Ohana, it is one of our must dos at WDW. I also like Sci-Fi, if you go for the simple things (burgers and such) the food is good and the atmosphere is very fun. We are going to try to fit Whispering Canyon now that we upgraded from POR to WL because it looks good.

Sorry, there are no characters at CRT at dinner time. However, you may get lucky and find Cindy at the entrance.

Between the BBQ and the HHD, I would pick the BBQ. We are going for the first time in July. My BIL went last summer with his wife and loved it. They had fun, even without their own children and didn't feel out of place. They are both picky eaters and both loved the food.

Good choices, Ms Bambi!
If you want dinner with Cinderella and her gang, I personally would switch to the dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the GF. Although eating in the castle is cool, too. We LOVE Hoop-Dee-Doo, have never done the Backyard BBQ...sounds fun too. Best bets for a lunch with the characters, this is just my opinion, Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends, or Garden Grill at Epcot. Both have EXCELLENT food and plenty of character time!

Good Luck!!!!:)

Thanks guys!
I ended up revising my reservations again:whistle: because dh wants to go to Sterling Casino Saturday. Last year the waves were hitting the boat so hard while gambling I slid off the seat and landed flat on my bottom:nooo:

Anywhoo I cancelled Cindys and put the Spirit of Aloha in it's place. I also added 1900 park fare, Boma and Ohana for breakfast.

I think I'm going to add San Angel also. My sister said the food there is really authentic Mexican which I love. There is nothing like a big non alcoholic Strawberry Margarita and mexican food:D

San Angel is great...we ordered appetizers and Margaritas...I had strawberry, and it was YUMMY! (it was alcoholic, though...) The atmosphere is great...VERY dark and romantic, if you're into that. Try to sit overlooking El Rio del Tiempre (ride in MEXICO building). You can see and hear the volcano erupting as you are dining by candelight, while watching as boats quietly float by...Ahhhh...wish I were there!!! :hmmm

OHMYGOSH! If you like Mexican, this is the place for you. It is beautiful and transports to a Mexican market at night time - no matter what its like outside. I always find myself rushing through here to get to the next place, but I could hang out here forever. Its on my next priority list...

Yes, it's a boat ride called El Rio del Tiempo (The River of Time). It's kind of Mexico's version of It's A Small World.

THanks Park Hopper!! I had no idea they had anything like that. Do the other showcase restaurants have rides like that also.

Thanks
