I totally agree! It has the worst food!!!! I did, however, try Flatbread Grill once and I had THE BEST chicken Caesar wrap ever! It was great - I kid you not.

To each their own, I guess!

DH and I hate them...we tried eating them multiple different times and just couldn't stomach them. When we accidentally stumbled into Pecos Bill's on the last day of our trip, we caught sight of those burgers, turned tail and ran!!!

Re: What is your favorite counter?

We discovered Wolf Gang Puck Express last year by a happy mistake. We were staying at SSR and the food court line was out the door and I needed breakfast. I am such a breakfast girl and we did not want to wait in that line.....so....we walked down to DDT and low and behold, there was Wolfgang Puck's Express. We had breakfast and it was awesome. My in laws were staying with us but we were not together that day so 2 days later we brought them there for breakfast. What a happy surprise and now it's a must do on our list.

I do not like the CS in Mexico and that's because San Angel Inn is one of our fav TS.

I am glad I found this thread because we never do CS, only TS but we have never had the dining plan before. So now I have some good CS ideas.

Isn't it Ramsden something or other?

It always cracks me up when all my English relations come all the way from England to visit me and then make a beeline to England in Epcot to get fish and chips!! I'm like TRY some American food . . . they say !

When I was at H&V this women leaned over to her husband and said " I don't see a chip in sight!!" She of course was from England! The English their chips . . . with malt vinegar not ketchup too! (Which is quite good actually!)

Re: What is your favorite counter?

We used to do a sit down meal for every meal up until my youngest was 5. It was a great way for everyone to just catch their breath and force a break. But, since then, their stamina has grown tremendously and we only do one, sometimes 2, ADR meals a day. So, we have had a chance to sample quite a few CS meals.

Epcot:

Tangerine Cafe - Ever since eating at Restaurant Marrakesh a few years ago and having our socks knocked off with a great meal, this place was a natural choice and it was exceptional. The entire menu is great. And the do pizza and chicken nuggets for the kids.

Cantina de San Angel - The food here is better than the restaurant inside.

Kringla Bakeri og Cafe - Very good gourmet sandwiches and one of the best dessert places in all of Disney.

Animal Kingdom:

Flame Tree BBQ - Awesome BBQ for the price. Put walls around it and it's a top notch restaurant.

Pizzafari - Okay, this pizza is the same as Pizza Planet, but, the decorations are worth the visit.

Magic Kingdom:

Casey's Corner - Reminds me of Coney Island as a kid.

Cosmic Ray's - The selection is huge for a CS, plus, the condiment bar for the burgers is awesome.

Hollywood Studios :

ABC Commissary - A nice change from the typical burger, nuggets and pizza places.

I agree! DH and I had just eaten Whispering Canyon the night before (which we thought was excellent)...and both of us thought the BBQ at Flame Tree was equal to or better than WCC!

Re: What is your favorite counter?

The only times that we do counter service generally is at MK and DtD. In the MK, it has to be Casey's Hot Dogs. Just a tradition for us. If it is DtD, then it is EoS. We do sit down in the other parks, or do not eat in them as a general rule.

Re: What is your favorite counter?

OK, DTD it's a tie between Earl's and Puck Express. We hit them both during our stay. That's just between you and me. Please don't tell anyone, the lines are already long enough! At Epcot we love the fish and chips at Yorkshire, goes great with a pint!

Re: What is your favorite counter?

We have tried just about all of them, and really like The Yak & Yeti (I believe the CS is named that also). Very tasty and plenty.
