Ohanas at the Polynesian used to be great but I think that the characters have changed. That said........the food is awesome. Don't know we ever made it out of there to do anything in the Parks. We were so full.

Re: The Best Breakfast at Disney?

Our favourite is Chef Mickey's but we usually book the latest time and make it brunch instead. Not as busy, they don't clear out the buffet early and lots of character interaction. I dare you to eat a big dinner after doing brunch at the Chef's.

I like 1900 Park Fare. The strawberry soup is amazing and they also have a lobster eggs benedict that is wonderful. My favorite girl Alice is also there!!

Re: The Best Breakfast at Disney?

I would say the best breakfast that I went to was, in terms of both quality and variety of food, was 1900 Park Faire. Also, the character interaction is some of the best in all of WDW, ESPECIALLY the Mad Hatter!
Other characters that appeared were Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger; along with Mary Poppins, who greeted guests outside in the lobby.

Cinderella's Royal Table would rank a VERY close second. The food was as good as 1900 Park Faire's, maybe even a tad better, but the menu is extremely limited, since every guest gets the same pre-plated dish. Character interaction was great here too.

Crystal Palace has a really good breakfast as well. This, too, is a character meal; with characters from Winnie the Pooh.

I did not have a good experience at Akershus, however. Service was not too great, food was decent but nowhere as good at the three restaurants mentioned above, and character interaction seemed rushed. The best part was meeting Mulan, who is not out too much, and gave the best interaction of all the characters there!

Hope this helps!

My favorites continue to be Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's, Boma, and Cape May Cafe.

Re: The Best Breakfast at Disney?

We ate breakfast at Boma twice when we were up in the beginning of June. It did help were were staying at AKL though. Not for the reservation, but for the ease of getting there.

Funny, I booked Boma for our next trip, too. And I booked it for morning we leave for our long drive home. I figured a nice big breakfast at Boma would be just the PERFECT way to say goodbye to WDW! Funny thing is, I booked it on the last day of our trip, when we are at an off site resort. Who knows, I might just end up there one morning while staying at AKV.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
