Reservations for August
Now that we have settled on the Poly resort we are thinking about whether we want to make any reservations for dinner.
I compared the Luau to Ohana's (dinner). I am leaning towards Ohana's. Then I was considering Kona Cafe and maybe one reservation in Epcot. No idea yet where. We are going to be there 3 nights. Breakfest will probably be Capt Cooks's or Kona Cafe..and lunch will probably be counter service or Capt Cook's. What are the reviews on the Poly's food choices? |

Re: Reservations for August
I really love Kona and Ohana. Great food and great atmosphere. Plus, Ohana is a lot of fun. I did the Luau in early 2005 and wasn't all too thrilled with it. If I remeber correctly, we even left early.

Re: Reservations for August
Both Kona & Ohana are very good. We have eaten at Ohana 3 or 4 times. You eat family style. It was all very good. I have heard a few complaints recently, but I would still eat there again. We tried Kona for the first time in June, and it is a new favorite for us. We have never done the Luau because we have just not heard enough great reviews to justify it. Plus if it is a rain out, you do not get your money back!
You mentioned Epcot.. The World Showcase has so many good dinner options. We like Rose & Crown (England) & San Angel Inn & Cantina San Angel (Mexico). Everyone seems to love LeCellier (Canada). We did it for lunch, but I think I would do dinner instead next time. I would love to try Tutto Italia (Italy) |

Re: Reservations for August
I agree with Ohana and Kona. Both are very good and Ohana is a must do every trip for us. Also, Kona is one of the best kept TS secrets...shhhhh!
