Character meals
I'm thinking of adding one more character meal for the end of the trip when it's just me and my 12yr and 4yr DSs, if I can find one last minute.
What ones do you suggest/prefer (please include what characters are there) and for lunch or dinner? (please include what food is served) I'd prefer dinner because I'm allergic to eggs, but if I can't get it, I'd rather have breakfast than nothing at this point. Thanks!

Re: Character meals
Crystal Palace would be a good choice. It's Pooh and friends, and they are not our favorite characters, but it's fun and the food is fantastic.

Re: Character meals
I like Chef Mickey's, good food and fun character interaction. It's a buffet so you have a lot to pick from.

Re: Character meals
I would agree and toss my vote for Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. The latter had a nice variety and it was coooool to relax in during the heat of the day as added bonus. Ho Ho Ho.....

Re: Character meals
My favorite when I went in May was Liberty Tree Tavern. All you can eat Thanksgiving dinner and cute dressed colonial characters.

Re: Character meals
I vote for:
CRT.. cause we LOVE the princess' All time favorite for my family. LTT.. love the characters in colonial costumes, but not sure how much longer they will be doing that. CP for Pooh & friends.. but I am not big on buffets. I would love to do 1900 Park Fare.. i have heard great reviews. |

Re: Character meals
We are going in 2 weeks, so choices are limited at this point. We have been to Chef Mickey's (and have dinner scheduled for the whole family) and been to CP (don't think 12yo DS would like Pooh and friends so much). I was trying for 1900 for dinner on our last night, but only breakfast is available our last day instead, and told that included Pooh and friends also.
Thanks everyone for your input. That's why I am looking forward to an auto reserv. system, because yesterday I was on the phone with a CM for 20 min. asking about different times/dates and meals, it would be so much easier to see it listed infront of me.

Re: Character meals
The Tusker House has a great Character Breakfast in the Animal Kingdom. Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, and Daisy. The food is great, lot's of selection and when you are done you are right next to the Kilimanjaro Safari. We went early and were allowed in the park before it opened to make our resevation.
Enjoy! Alvin
