Cape May Cafe chracter breakfast

I booked it last night as a last minute thing for one of my relaxed days. I have never been to the Beach Club resort, let alone Cape may cafe. Tell me everything about this meal. Is it worth it?? Will me and DD like it?? How hard is it to locate from BC's main check in area?

I have only been to their clam bake dinner buffet, which is great! To find it in the main building... if you are facing the check in desk, turn around walk forward and look to your right. It is sooo easy to find. Enjoy it!

Cool thanks! I assumed it was located in the main building, but wasn't sure. I am kinda excited to just check the resort out having never been there at all.

Dana, we've been pretty regularly eating breakfast at Cape May for the past couple years.
If we return with that kind of regularity, it must be good, food wise, service wise, and character wise.
Also, they will cook you eggs to order from the kitchen and the omelets are huge, unless you specify they only make it with two or three eggs!

It's pretty good. The whole thing is more relaxed than Chef Mickey's and just a calmer atmosphere. We enjoyed it a couple of years ago and your thread made me wonder why we didn't do it this summer while we were there but it's on the list for next time.

We did the breakfast once there. I like the atmosphere there but didn't care for the food at the buffet and the characters took a very looooong time to make there way around when I was there that 1 time. I hope it was a 1 time thing because DD wants to go back there.

If you have been a repeat visitor, then it must be good. Thanks for the opinion Doug!

hmmmmmm! I switched this ADR to Boma for our Xmas trip . . . but you seem to be getting better feedback? Maybe I'll try it on one of my other trips!

We have done breakfast at Cape May many times because it ranks at the top for us! We think the food is wonderful and Goofy is the best here than any other character meal in my opinion. He really plays with the kids! Even though your DD is older and might not play with the characters, you'll really enjoy how funny he is. Minnie is also very personable here. I always feel like I'm getting more from these characters than just an autograph and a photo opportunity!

I am so happy to hear your positive review. Me and my DD will never be to old to play with the characters

...We are both still 8yrs old when we go to WDW

Great choice Dana!
I think it is a very underated character breakfast.
Plus you get to check out the resort which is awesome in itself.

We love this breakfast. The room is nice, the food is good and the characters are cute. They are all in their bathing suits/beach clothes. My DD loves it and Goofy has always been really funny. The resort is nice and has always been quiet and relaxing when we went. Enjoy!

BC is awesome, the restaurant for breakfast is Okay... I would rather go to Chef Mickeys or GF for that buffet style breakfast. BC has Chip & Dale, Pluto, Minnie & Mickey....... It's not far from the main area and the atmosphere is great. I would rather be there for dinner than breakfast.
