Cinderella's Royal Table ?

I understand that when you get an ADR here you need to leave your credit card # with WDW-DINE in case you are a no-call no-show...

My question is... (After reading on All-Ears I was a little confused )

Do they charge your card anything when you book or is it strictly for if you don't show up or cancel 24 hrs before they will charge you?

Re: Cinderella's Royal Table ?

It's only a cc guarantee for cancellations... 48hrs I believe...
if you are on the dining plan.

I believe if you are NOT on the DDP, they charge you for the meal upfront....??? is that right?

Val, you are right, its 48 hours, but I don't know about charging up front if you are not on the DP.

Re: Cinderella's Royal Table ?

I'm almost positive we aren't getting the DDP but we will be getting (and using) the DDE card.

Tell them that you will be using the DDE card. When we had ressies last September, they charged my card upfront. I remember this because I totally through them through a loop when I requested the DDE discount.

Well I think this may be out for us then because I'm not keen on the idea of paying for something like this, this far in advance!! I'd be perfectly fine with a deposit or just them having it in case I didn't show up!!

Re: Cinderella's Royal Table ?

If NO dining plan you pay in full upfront!

It's a lot of dough, but by the time you eat there 180 days later, you forget that it cost you an arm and a leg and you just have FUN!!!

Make sure you dress pretty to have your picture with Cinderella . . . you do that first in the Lobby before you go up to the dining area!

Girls get magic wands, and boys swords . . . the Princesses here are great .. . and the breakfast YUMMY! You get a nice photo package two 1 8x10, 1 5x7 and 4 4x6 . . . so it makes nice gifts for relatives!

It's a lot . . . but worth doing at least once with your little Princess . . . we did it for Becca's 4th birthday . . . she got a cupcake with candles and the Princesses sang to her . . . it was FUN!

Yep, Jasmine and Aurora were in our area of the dining room when our server brought out the cupcake, they turned and sang to her too . . . it was GREAT! She still talks about it!!

It is an expensive meal . . . but just being IN the castle with the Princesses is a lot of fun! Altho, Mary Poppins was there with us? So I'm not sure how she falls into the PRINCESS roll, but both DDs like her so they were happy!

We've had Mary Poppins at the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway before. I'm like you--who says she's a princess?!

Alice was at ours . . . she's not a PRINCESS either!

I guess in Disney's eyes . . . we're all PRINCESSES!!

Re: Cinderella's Royal Table ?

We have done this twice, both on DDP and thought we could skip it this year, but DD11 and DS9 INSIST on having dinner in the Castle and their photo with Cinderella....they both say it makes them feel special! Who'd a thought?

Re: Cinderella's Royal Table ?

I have done CRT breakfast with DS when he was young. I think we took him there 3 times. That was long before the price increase! Well, now I have a 3 year old DD and I'm sure she would LOVE it. We will have to go again one of the next couple of trips.

I have all boys, so I've never even gotten to see Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty or Belle when we've been at WDW! Too bad I don't have a DD to share that with. I wish there was a boy version of this, like with Captn Hook, my 4DS would flip!
