Food channel compair Disney resturants to other's
After watching the food and vacation channel's I dont think I can eat anywere else. The standards in Disney are way above others. Just watch Gorden Ramsey Kitchen nightmare's. Disney staff always have gloves, hair nets, clean uniforms and the cooking areas always look spot less.

 Well, I guess it's called "Kitchen Nightmares" for a reason....But it is nice to know that WDW's standards are so high.

We just this week got Food Network in HD.
Guess I need to start looking for more Disney programming there too. As for Disney kitchens, you can see for yourself at the CS places as well as the restaurants that have on stage kitchens that all kitchen staff always work clean. From what I've seen of Busch Gardens, they do as well.

Kitchen Nightmares is on FOX.
As a chef, most of the restaurants that I have worked in, or have been in the kitchens of, the majority require their employees to wear gloves while preparing and/or serving foods to the public. In saying this, I'm referring to restaurants that are the same caliber of Disney. You have to keep in mind that you can't compare any of the quick service, walk up burger counters at Disney to any McDonalds and/or Burger King. The quality of the food and service are simply not comparable. Another thing to remember in watching a show like Kitchen Nightmares, is that they have the power of editing at their fingertips. Would we as a viewing audience want to watch a show about a kitchen that only has a couple of dirty pans or a couple of spoiled dishes tucked away in the back of a walk in fridge? Nope. They show the absolute worst in the beginning and the incredible change that Chef Ramsey has done to the establishment. That's entertainment. I can tell you from experience that even your favorite $100.00 a plate restaurant probably has a violation or two. It's the real world. Just like everything else they do, Disney sets the standards that others around them try to follow to a degree.
