Pick my.......

...........................................place to make an ADR!

After much aggravation and everyone in the clan here having lets just say, "difference of opinions" on where we should make ADRs for our upcoming February trip, I have decided to leave the fate of our ADRs in your hands. Sell me on the place and why.

(So pick well my friends)

Now as most of you "should" know ~ we are foodies. We have eaten at most places in WDW and have a few favorites which we will probably do no matter what you all may decide, but we need control of the chaos here in the MickeyMotto household over these ADRs ~ so please, my fellow MB friends, restore my sanity by picking my ADRs for my next trip.

Here are the details you will need to know before you accept this mission of madness:

We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan

We will have 27 credits!!!!! (Table Service or Counter Service for B, L and D)

We would like to do some Signature Dining on a few nights

We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge resort for this trip

We plan on having a laid back trip, no real tight schedule, so feel free to pick a variety of places you think we would like.....or what you would like to see some photos and reviews of when I come back in my TR.

I have faith in you all.

Re: Pick my.......

Since you're staying at WL I think Artist Point should be on your list. How about breakfast at Whispering Canyon before you hit the parks one day?

Have you ever eaten at Artist Point? This was one of those we were not sure of. No one can decide on anything in this house. I would love to hear some reviews before we commit to this one.

I like the idea of WC for breakfast though. Seems like an easy decision on that one since we are already there.

So.......sold on WC for breakfast!!!!!! Only 26 more to go.

We have never been there but the reviews are usually good.

Ahhh....this one was an easy one Mommyof2. My middle DS (Tyler) loves Le Cellier and threatened me if this one was on the list. So thank you for saving my life.

Chef Mickey's, have you eaten there? Should we go for breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Sold on Le Cellier! Only 25 more to go.........

Re: Pick my.......

I would pick a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's after an Extra Magic Hour at MK. You could get a few park hours in then head over for a late breakfast on your way back to WL for a swimming break or zipping around the lake on those little boats.

I agree about the reviews. I have read quite a few and they are usually good, but I can't seem to find anything on the menu that jumps out and grabs me to commit yet.

Maybe, just maybe..............ooh.....can't do it yet! Need some more selling on this one till I commit. I'll place this one in the pending box for now.

OMGosh, what a great idea! I never really thought of that. That would be a good one for one those days we do a signature meal.

Sold on Chef Mickey's for a late breakfast!!!!

Re: Pick my.......

I would suggest Crystal Palace for an early ADR breakfast. When you do that you get to walk down Main Street with an awesome view of the castle and no crowds!!! The food is very good, character interaction is wonderful and the restaurant itself is just beautiful.

Yea!! We've done that a couple of times and really liked it. The morning goes quickly but we're been there enough that we're not worried about doing everything so we're good with it.

Since you will be close you should definitely do Hoop-de-Doo at FW. So much fun, lots of food, and it is all pretty tasty too.

Re: Pick my.......

I would have to say Narcoosees is the only restaurant I would highly recommend for the food. We were there 3 years ago and it was over the top fabulous. The service and presentation were amazing, the selections suited all of us, including DD8 and DS7. It was nice to "celebrate" Disney with our kids at such a high class restaurant. I believe our reservations were at 7:30-8:00 - you get a great view of the Boat Parade and Wishes from the restaurant...you can go out on the deck, or eat by the windows.

Friends of ours went for their anniversary dinner 2 years ago and were very pleased, and we are going back in Sept.

Great for boat parade and wishes viewing for an early departure from MK, without missing the ending, or you could conceivably go back for EMH in the evening...the food is excellent, but not particularly heavy, if you know what I mean. Nice bar, as well as a great kids menu/selection. Dinner is 2 TS credits (is that the same for the deluxe? I think they dont count double...) and includes an appetizer, entree and dessert, I believe.

Otherwise, we also go to the Cinderella;s Royal Table every year, as it makes our little ones (now 11 and 10) 'FEEL SPECIAL" (the food was better before the characters and photo package were included, but still worth the trip to eat in the castle. I would only secondly recommend the Castle, as we call it, to Narcoosees, a fine dining must.
