late reservations?

I made late reservs. (10:50am) for Cape May on our final day. Does anyone know how the buffet is this late (is food still fresh and plentiful) and how is the character circulation? Because it's so late, do they try to rush you out?

We had this happen at the only character breakfast we've been to, Breakfastosaurus, and that was at 8:30am, but I had read about it being rushed, so we were prepared and still stayed a while. We usually like to stay 2 hrs for a character meal to make sure we see each character twice and take in the whole atmosphere.

Re: late reservations?

They won't rush you out. The food will be fresh, as they will constantly restock and food items are only supposed to be held for just so long before they are replaced. If they are taking reservations as late as 10:50, they are expecting diners to be there until around noon.
I will say from recent experience at Donald's Safari Breakfast that the characters there were running out of energy as closing time approached, although I've never seen the same at Crystal Palace or Cape May.
Try to just put your fears aside and enjoy your meal. And consider, when there are fewer guests, you'll get to spend more time with the characters for yourself.
We've gotten 10:30 reservations at Cape May a few times and everything was fine and fresh.
