picky eaters

My dd is an extremely fussy eater and I was wondering at restuarants such as Ohana's for example, could you order a kids meal of Fries and Chicken strips or something as an alternative? This issue has never arisen for us so far as when dd has been with us with have usually just had breakfast with her here and the evening meal has just been DH and I , while nana has looked after her for us. This time we are all going there but I have real worries about her as I KNOW she will not touch any of the food they have.

O'hanna's is ver accomidating and will get her mac and cheese or chicken strips if asked. Actually most WDW restaurants will do it if you just ask. They realize that there are picky kids eating with the parents paying to eat there and have always been very good about getting children things that are not on the menu. No worries.

Last yr my 26 yr old DS had chicken strips and fries. He still paid the full adult price. But he also ate some chicken wings and he got just plain ice cream. So I'm sure your child will be fine.

Ohanas is great, my DD got a hot dog and fries and still tried some of our meat,too. I always recommend buffet type meals for picky eaters because there is definitely something for everyone.

My son gets fries and chicken strips every time we go to 'Ohana. The server never questions it so I'm guessing it happens a lot.

this really is such good news for me guys. I always think 'this is the vacation where dd is going to eat everything offered to her' but alas, I am usually proved wrong so to know that I am going to be able to have a meal at the same time as her rather than having to feed her first somewhere else and worry that she is bored when we are trying to have our meal and she has nothing to do!
