2009 dining plan

I understand the 2009 dining plan info is coming out in Sept. Anyone have any advance on this?

I know that they will be adding a new counter service plan that includes 2CS,2 snacks and a refillable resort mug for about $28.

I don't really have an answer for you but i was thinking maybe-
credit crunch could be on the menu

or you could book for September and pray for free dinning

I have been told around $30 per person by an agent in england.

I dont' think anything is being officially announced until October, but who knows with WDW...they like to surprise us. It will be in the front page news forum on here, so keep a look out for here.

That is a pretty good price! I hope it comes out! Sometimes it is nice to just do CS.

For $28 I rather them keep the $35 something for a nice sit down everyday. I look foward to going to Ohanna'a every year.

I agree. I am a waitress so I like to be waited on on vacation.

I go to WDW with my mother who is in a wheelchair. We go to the parks when they open and stay to they close. Even though we have been to WDW many times we don't want to miss anything. It's a long day of walking and pushing. I prefer to have a sit down meal once a day. It's nice to relax and be waited on. It helps recharge my batteries so I can keep going.

It is nice to have the options. Sometimes we go on short trips and don't want to do sit downs. So it is nice to have the options of CS or a combination of CS and TS. If there is free dinning in 2009-- I wonder what the options will be :)

I heard rumors that if it is offered it will be the quick service dining plan and then you can upgrade to the basic or deluxe for a fee.

I am sure this will be the case. They always have a way of taking something good away. Oh well I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

The counter service plan sounds interesting. We are on the Deluxe Dining plan this year (Nov) and were on the Basic plan last year.

We chose the Deluxe dining so we could eat anywhere, but the price difference between Deluxe and Quick Service is amazing!!
