Tutto Italia or Coral Reef?

Okay. There evidently was a cancellation at Tutto Italia for Sept 19 at 4:30. I booked it. I have 2 reservations, one at Coral Reef at 4:40. I really wanted the Crab Legs at Coral Reef, but since they removed them from the menu, I don't know if I want to dine there. We did it last year, so the aquarium would not be new for us.

What are the reviews on Tutto Italia? For those of you who have eaten at both, which do you recommend.

I did NOT like Mama Melrose at all!

Tutto would be my choice...coral reef keeps chopping their menu down and the reviews are very hit or miss.

I am sorry you don't like Momma's. It's my favorite place in WDW.

I just didn't like the sauce taste at Momma's. Is the sauce at Tutto the same, or different.

Sue, I am not a fan at all of Coral Reef. If you remember, we had a horrible experience there. So even though I have not been to Tutto Italia yet, I would definitely pick it over CR any day.

Now with that being said, I was not a fan of Mama's either. We have so many great Italian restaurants around our area, its tough to find one that really impresses us. I guess we must be sauce snobs.

We had a not so good experience at Coral Reef last summer (poor service and my meal was awful) and we'll never go back so I would go with Tutto Italia based on that alone.

Is there anyone here that can tell us about the food at Tutto? I have been wanting to try it everytime. I would really love to hear what the MB'ers think of it.

Different restaurant...so I would assume different taste etc. Not ran by the same people so it can't be the same taste.

My review of Tutto's is on Allears as well. I wasn't impressed with the dinner, but, the desserts were fantastic. As far as Coral Reef goes, well, if you don't like the Blackened Catfish with cheese grits, you really don't have a reason to go anymore unless you want to watch the fish swim.

I'd try Tutto, although I've never been there. Too bad they keep messing with the CR menu. Just when it was improving, they ruin it.

we loved Tutto! I have pics on an older thread from our visit last fall (the week they opened, so things may have changed, but I hope not....)!

We like Coral Reef, but I have never been to Tutto. I am sure it will be great though. And probably different from Momma's which we also like.

We've eaten at Tutto Italia twice this year and enjoyed it and I might even go back again in October. Coral Reef's menu has been getting lamer and lamer since the MYW dining plans started in January of 2005, so much so, that even though I'd love to go there again, there just isn't enough reason for me to return. We haven't eaten there in 3 years and it used to be a favorite of ours.
