Pretty cool site. I don't know if anyone noticed this or not, but you can make online ressies on their site. I thought that was pretty cool!

I did! I read somewhere else that it is actually faster and more efficient to book with them directly if you are not on the DDP.

Did you happen to check out the section on how to speak "Dublinese"?

I am going to have to start using some of those like ,"I'm in me grannies now!" or "Eejit"...... Or, I at least have to know a few before I go there to have a "Craic"!

Re: Raglan Road Fans

Not a fan, but the menu looks good enough for a first try in 9 weeks.
It seems to have matured since it opened. If I recall correctly, their original menu wasn't this varied or deep, nor did it appeal to me.

I agree. The first time I looked at their menu I wasn't too excited either, but it appears they have some things that I would like to try now. I also hear some very good reviews about the food and the bread pudding is suppose to be on the same level as Ohanas......I guess for research purposes, I can take one for the team. And so, I will have to be the judge of that one myself so that I can report back to you all!

Re: Raglan Road Fans

We were there the week it opened - thought the food was excellent! The Colpucchino & Drunk Chicken were great (I could make a meal of that Drunk Chicken), nice variation on the Shepherd's Pie (and pretty classy looking) and the steak was quite good too. The boys wished the imported scotch seletion was better and the wait staff had a few issues to work out (to be expected-it was about 4 days old when we went)... but be in me grannies in a few weeks!

I remember that too. But last November, it was a different thing. Also, the things on the menu still kinda don't sound too exciting, but when you get the food, it looks so much better than they discribe it

Isn't it usually the other way around-
The menu looks mouthwatering and the food is just blaaaahh
