ADRs are done!!!!
I just finished booking the dining reservations for our upcoming trip in January! My DD (and ex-DLR CM) was supposed to do this. We actually had a big sit down at our house in late June to plan when and where we wanted to eat. When she worked at Disneyland, she was one of those who would call in on the morning of day 180 to make ADRs for our WDW trips. So I was a little concerned when she and my DSIL (current DLR CM) came over for dinner yesterday and I found out she hadn't made them yet
 . Her feeling was that since we were going in early January, we should have no trouble getting these booked. I disagreed. After some spirited debate (my SIL was on my side ), I volunteered to get them done today.Turns out she was right  . We got every one we wanted  .But now that it's official, it seems like our trip is a little closer. See what you think: Thursday, Jan 1 - Dinner at San Angel Inn at the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT. Friday, Jan 2 - Lunch at Biergarten at the Germany pavilion in EPCOT and dinner at the Marrakesh at the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT. (Are you beginning to sense a trend here? )Saturday, Jan 3 - Lunch at 50's PT Cafe in DHS and dinner at Ohana (aha, the trend is broken) at the Poly. Sunday, Jan 4 - Dinner at Coral Reef in EPCOT. Monday, Jan 5 - Dinner (and fireworks!!) at California Grill at the Contemporary. Tuesday, Jan 6 - Dinner at Cindy's Royal Table at the MK. Wednesday, Jan 7 - Dinner at the Rose & Crown at the England pavilion in EPCOT. Thursday, Jan 8 - Character breakfast at the Tusker House in AK and dinner at Teppanito at the Japan pavilion in EPCOT. Friday, Jan 9 - Dinner at Le Cellier at the Canada pavilion in EPCOT. As you can probably tell, we are those folks who make the sit down dining portion of our trip a VERY important matter. This year, there will be six of us going, so this should be fun .Aside to Voldemort: I tried to book our Storyteller's ressie today as well, but was told I have to wait until 60 days out (another week or so).

The only problem you might have this far out would be one of the special New Year's Eve dinners.
I know I need to call and reserve either California Gill or Narcoossee's (late seating) soon. I'm just not sure if we're going to be going up for New Year's Eve this year, and I'm pretty sure I don't want to drop $1000 for dinner at California Grill, as lavish as their offerings will be that night. The plans look perfect! You are always best off making your ADRS as soon as you are able to and know where you want to eat. I am happy that you got everything you wanted!
