OOPS FORGOT TO ADD WHISPERING CANYON

Whispering Canyon--we ate here on our day of arrival which was June 6th. I had the skillet with the bbq ribs, pulled pork and chicken amongst other items. Dh had steak, veggies and the beef stew from my skillet. Afterwards we were served a beautiful cake call Roses and Dots I preordered a week before we left. The cake was DELICIOUS and the buttercream was AWESOME. The was so much cake, we shared with the other guest.

We really enjoyed our server who had dh and I walk to the main dining room where they announced we were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. She asked all the diners over the microphone to tap their glass with their forks and told dh and I to start KISSING!!!! It was so hilarious. I asked her for extra napkins and she brought about 10!!! I laughed so the whole while there.
Rating 10+

Boma--in my opinion is overrated. Everything including the zebra domes were not to my taste. 5 RATING

Beaches and Cream --I had a Ceasars Salad and RootBeer float which was very good. Dh had a Burger which was to his liking and a Chocolate Shake. RATING 8.5

Being that my first trip is coming up in November I love that you posted this. I have started a little folder (I am sure it will be huge by then) to put all the food places and must sees. This board is so great because when I go I will know exactly where to eat and have a memorable experience.

Thanks so much for sharing!!:)

I love the way you posted that!:heart So informative and very helpful. For many years when we had 3 or 4 kids with us we mostly ate counter service. Now with the 2 of us we are finally going to sample some of these places.

What a great idea Ms.Bambie! lol. Sorry you didn't enjoy Boma's that much, my mom felt the same way you did. O'Hana's is AWESOME!! Thats my favorite Sit-Down restaurant in all of WDW. I hope to get to the rest of those restaurants some day!
Joe:)

Okay I'm going to rate the places we ate at in March:

50's Prime Time - 4 (We didn't care for it too much at all, our server was not into the act and the food wasn't even close to my mom's cooking)

Crystal Palace (Lunch) - 9 The food was great and the charcter interaction was the best!!!

Rainforest Cafe-AK-Lunch - 9 They definetly need to redo their check in system but the food & atmosphere make up for that)

1900 Pare Fare- Dinner 10!!!!!!! The food was AWESOME, and the character interaction was great. MUST DO!!!

We are planning on doing Crystal Palace and Rainforest again this March because we liked them so well.

I agree Ohana's is great. We just love this place. The food the atmosphere make it such an awesome restaurant. I just couldn't imagine going to WDW and not eating at Ohana's.

Thanks for the ratings and even though we all have different tastes it kind of gives you a heads up on what the favs of many seem to be.

Ohana's, 1900 Park Fare, and Beaches and Creams are among our favorites. Seems to be the favorites of many other DC'ers too.

I'd like to think my ratings reflect the experiance and cost of the meal as well as just the quality of the food.

From January 03 and Feb 03:

Chef Mickey's (dinner) 10 Food is really good. The character involvement makes this the best family dinner ever.

Ohanna's (dinner) 10 Carnivore's unite!!!!

Trail's end (Breakfast) 10 Still the best value on the property.

Spoodles (Lunch) 6 Tasty but uninspiring.

Flying Fish (dinner) Considering Murrell's Inlet SC was wear I spent many a meal...an 8 is a very good rating.

I did the Hoop De Doo too! 10?...yeah a 10. Its the show that made it a 10. The food was tasty and plentiful.

Sleepy Hollow (Snack) 10...yeah I'm easy...The cobblers and cookie sandwich's will will add 10 pounds to your weight and cut 10 years off your age.

Thanks for the reviews everyone. I also give Ohana's, Chef Mickey's and Rainforest Cafe a 10 and will add...
Kona Cafe - 10... the Tonaga toast is fabulous
Garden Gill - 10 characters, great food, very quite and nice relaxing atmosphere
Princess Storybook Breakfast - 10 This is a parents dream. To be able to get a princess meal without calling every morning at the crack of dawn. The food is very good and great service. Having Jasmine there is a huge draw for us! I think it feels less rushed than Cindy's b-fast in the castle.

Phantombantam it's nice to have you back! I've been wondering where you were hiding. :bandit

When we went in April, our kids favorite was Teppanyaki. The food was really delicious and the chef kept the kids attention. We all enjoyed the meal very much.
