Chef Mickey's/crystal Palace...lunch Or Dinner?

OK, I am a bit behind making my PS's (what am I waiting for?!?! :dazed ), and I need a LITTLE help. I definitely want to do 2 character meals while we are there in August...my 22 month DS will absolutely love it! I know I want to do Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace...maybe even the Ice Cream Social at Epcot for an afternoon treat one day. But as for Chef Mickey's ... what's better, breakfast or dinner? I have never been there, but after seeing it on the Food Network, it is a MUST do...
As for Crystal Palace, DH and I did it YEARS ago (our first trip in 1997!), and we did lunch...how is the breakfast here?

Ok, last question...what do these places serve to eat in the buffets? I am clear as to what Chef Mickey's serves for breakfast, but what about for dinner?

We would love to do one for breakfast and one for dinner. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! :)

Don't know about the CM or CP but I would just like to recommend the Ice cream social. It is at the Graden Grill in the Land and you have a private booth in the revolving restraunt. The characters move around as the restraunt moves and your kids get very private attention. The ice cream is wonderful and it is a great way to take a cooling break! I have some wonderful pictures of DGD taken there.

Check out this site http://wdwig.com/menu/menu_cmk.htm for the Chef Mickey dinner menu & from there you can check out others, too. We've only done lunch & dinner at CP, but loved it both times. We're planning on doing a breakfast there our last day of our August trip, & we're doing our DD's 18th birthday dinner at Chef Mickeys that trip, too. We've never eaten at Chef Mickeys, but that's who DD wanted to eat with on her birthday, so who am I to argue.:dazed  :) :heart

Hi Kim,

Just saw this post today,
....I have never eaten at Chef Mickey's, but a few months ago I asked about breakfast or dinner, and breakfast got the most votes here.
I have had B, L, and D at the CP and have LOVED each of them, never had a bad experience there.
I also LOVE the Garden Grill, haven't done the ice cream social, but have had the lunch and dinner there...wonderful!!

Since this thread is already a week old, did you make your PS's yet???
Good Luck,

Amy

Hey Amy!!! I decided on doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast on day 2 of our trip...I already made the PS for that one. I am still undecided about Crystal Palace, but I think I am going to do breakfast there, too...probably the 6th or 7th (last) day of our trip. I already did Crystal Palace for lunch (in 1997!!!), so I want to try the breakfast....I didn't make that PS yet though!!!
