A Plea for Restaurant Reviews

With so many people returning from recent trips, I just wanted to remind everyone how invaluable restaurant reviews are. Even if you submit a trip report, please take a couple of minutes and do a review of the restaurants you went to in Review Central. I personally love to compare the different views on each restaurant and use it to do planning. (Truth be known...I am being selfish with this request! :laugh)

I second that. Although I have made many trips to DW we have been mostly bound to counter service due to budget. Now, this trip I plan to for DH and I to make up for that. I need and value your opinions and will be checking for them!

I plan to do at least 8 restaurant reviews in a month if all goes well. I hope it helps!!

Hey DisneyAnne! That's MY crusade! :D

I was going to ask Mickey the other day if he could put a Top 10 Restaurant list in the Review area based on our ratings... Then I realized that there really aren't enough reviews out there for that. I know other folks like to eat almost as much as I do... :bandit

Don't know why we can't work together on this crusade... ;) Especially since we are going to be counting on all DCers to contribute..:)

When I got back from WDW, I emailed Mickey re:why there aren't more counter service restaurants listed. I noticed AK was the only park that has reviews available. He told me it is on his list of to-do's. I am real excited about the possibilities. I will have a lot to contribute to the counter service when they are added.

OK, just an update. I have been trying to get together some info to get the counter service restaurants in the database. Hopefully within the next month, I can have them all in, including counter service as the resorts, and we can then start working on other areas such as the clubs at Pleasure Island, etc.

I am also working on a new face to the RC. You can see what it will look like here:

I am planning on redoing the site with new software here in the next couple of weeks, and at that time, I will impliment the new Review Central stuff. Hopefully it will be easier to find things, compare restaurants (of whatever) or to rank things (ie. top 10 rated restaurants.).
