Great dining info. in DC "search"

Hi Gang!:)

Welcome to all the DC newbies, we are glad you've joined us!
I just thought I might mention, and I DON'T want to offend anyone, that if you are looking for info. on a specific restaurant, you might want to try typing it into the "search" box and it will pull up instantly all the old threads and discussions about that particular place. You can even put "character dining" in the search, and you'll get tons of info. instantly! It would give you info. faster than placing a new thread, and if you don't find what you're looking for, then a new thread is a great way to find out.
I know this is very obvious, but I had a "DUH" moment when I "discovered" the search option. lol:whistle: :dazed ;)

Great tip, Amy! That actually goes for anything Disney you can think of. We have discussed so much that the search box is great for newbies to learn about what we have already shared without us sounding like broken records...:dazed hee, hee.

Its also fun for us old-timers to see old threads pop surface. I think that's what makes this forum so different from the others...:)

I agree with you both! If you are looking for general info, just read through the old threads and you're sure to find something you are looking for..if not, just ask and someone here will be happy to help! ;)

The Search is a goodplace to check for a lot of information. I know when I was a newbie, Mickey helped me so much. I didn't know what the search even was. :dazed If anyone new here has questions also, let us know and someone can pm you and try to help. Feel free to pm (send a personal message) me anytime also. This was the first board I ever posted to, so I was really really lost. I had never been to forums before, and I joined this and another one at the same time. I was nervous to make my first post LOL!!

btw...ya'll are still newbies to me ;) :laugh
