Chefs didn't do anything one way or the other so we'll try them again in the future. I was really disappointed by their creme brulee.
Cape May's selection at dinner seemed to be lacking items that are found on seafood buffets, but if they still have crab legs when you go, that tips the scale back towards them. (Where's the fried shrimp and scallops?)
Turf Club is on the list of check it out some day.
Teppan Edo is good and you'll enjoy it, but we like sushi more, so we keep going to Tokyo Dining.
Biergarten should be fine for your family. Lots of choices.
Chef Mickey's is a little bit of a downer for dinner, in my opinion. I much prefer CP.
Tutto Italia is real good, but you already know that.

It is quite an expense for hoppers...we have always had them and hardly used them!! our next trip i think we are going to try to do without also!!

I was told you could add hoppers at any point in your trip (although you would have to pay for the whole stay not just the days you wanted to hop) - that definitely gives some flexibility if you don't want to spend the money on hoppers right now.

We will be there the same night, we have dinner ressies at Kona cafe. Have never been, hope it's good. We don't have Park Hopper this time either, we opted for the Waterparks instead for DS!

Dee, when we went for Christmas we didnt have hoppers as well and we LOVED it so Madison and I are not getting the hoppers for her bday trip.

I'm not what you call an adventuresome eater. Not much of a beef eater either, so any place with chicken is ok in my book. But this trip in Sept. I've decided to step out of my comfort zone and away from my favorite restaurants.

Regarding Dee's updated list, I see nothing has changed other than there being a TBD opening where Biergarten was. So, my opinion doesn't change.
As far as hoppers vs non hoppers, I'm always in the pro hopper camp.
One thing to keep in mind with me is that I've never had a non hopper ticket, going back to 96 and certainly have had no restrictions since 2005 when we got our first premium AP.
I'm a firm believer in the ability to change parks and often will be in at least 2 parks in a day. But I realize it's different for different families or even the same family under different constraints (time, budget, etc).

We are still on the fence regarding Wed, I am trying to get breakfast in Animal Kingdom... as soon as I get it I'll post it.

I would love to hop, our problem is that I am still unemployed only have my little 20 hour a week lowes check. If by chance I find something then YES we will add hoppers
