Epcot restaurants
I really like dining at Epcot. Just so many international options. It seems each nation has a nice dine in restaurant or an easy outdoor counter type fast food.
We ate at the Nine Dragons which is a nice dine indoor restaurant and great food. I highly recommend this place if you are at Epcot.

Snowmedia,
Nine Dragons in one of the few places that we haven't eaten at in Epcot; we've always shied away from it because we heard that the food was "just like the place down the street from where you live." Did you find it better than that (it sounds like you did)? What did you have? THAT can make all the difference... Bruce |

My wife and I really like chinese food so it may not be hard to please us.
We started with an appetizer of potstickers and then had an order of noodles and sesame chicken. Both items came on large plates we served ourselves from and of course white rice. We saw someone on the otherside of us order the All you can eat samplers which brought out small plates of a large assortment of items, it looked really good. The decor was really nice as well.

My favorite resturaunt at the World is Teppynaki Steakhouse in Japan. I love the food and especially like being able to see it prepared right in front of me. Well worth it!

We love Teppanyaki, too! It's such a great change from burgers and chicken fingers. And it keeps my DD occupied too!
LeCellier is our second favorite, although we were a bit disappointed when we visited in October. Maybe another visit is in order to see if October was a bad day! Niki

I think with this many votes for the Teppynaki Steakhouse, it is going to be one of the first places I eat at next years trip.
Anyone been to that mexican restaurant in that Mayan temple looking building. I was wondering how good that place is.

Snowmedia: I'm bad with names, but I've been to the indooe Mexican restaurant and the food is pretty good (The margarita's are excellent!). I've actually been there twice for dinner without PS, and the atmosphere with the somewhat fakey looking volcano is still pretty romantic since the setting is somewhat dark.

I have been to San Angel Inn once, and I will never go back. The restaurant itself is pretty cool, it does have great atmosphere. Unfortunately, it is some of the worst mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. I think it is probably one of the three worst restaurants on property. Granted, others have been there and like it, but I don't. I guess you have to understand that I love Mexican food, and eat it three or four times a week, most of the time from places not frequented by caucasions. The more authentic and spicy it is, the better. San Angell Inn is neither. The food we were served was cold, bland and obviously straight out of a can.
There are so many other choices around EPCOT that are better choices. Try Spoodles or Flying Fish on the Boardwalk, a 5 minute walk from EPCOT. I also love akershus in Norway, the Japanese restaurants, Restaurant Marakkesh in Morocco and Le Celier, the best by far in all of the world showcase. The french restaurants aren't bad either, but they are a little over priced.

I'm glad a thread got started on Epcot restaurants. I'm a very open eater and like to try new cuisine. However my boyfriend is not and is the pickiest eater I know. I know there are restaurants in Epcot that suit him and others that suit me, but are there any that will suit the both of us?:dazed

Let's see, restaurants that are good for adventurous as well as the boring...
Garden Grill in the Land is pretty safe, great items from the greenhouse. Akershus in Norway, although it is Norwegian, and there is herring, it is a buffet. My kids are kindof picky, and they loved it. Plenty of meat and potatoes. Marrakesh in Morocco. Great food, and there are some safe choices. Can't beat bellydancing! Teppanyaki in Japan. Think Benihanas. Les Chefs de France. French food anyone would recognize. Last, but definitely not least, since it is my favorite, Le Celier in Canada. Great steaks, cheese soup and other wonderful items. You can get a quick description of the restaurants, along with reviews in the EPCOT Restaurants section of ReviewCentral.
