This should certainly be the case for all eateries in DTD and it would be nice if the Swan and Dolphin's restaurants were also included. Then again, in the case of Swolphin, that could be a sticky situation because those hotels do not participate in any of the vacation plans, although you can make reservations for dining and accomodations through Disney central reservations. I guess their guests are happy enough to get transportation and EMH.

Most of the international showcase restaurants are operated by the pavilions' sponsors, operators, or whatever you want to call them.
They may eventually get staffed through Disney's college program and other international internship programs, but the restaurant operations in each pavilion are "owned" by that pavilion.
That's why they aren't automatically dining plan participants, but eventually wind up going with the flow when they realize how much traffic the plan steers into them.

Please read the entire thread. The restuarants that have not joined in yet are not Disney owned and WAIT until the last minute every single year to be added. This is NORMAL.

Ya'll seriously need to just wait for the official list to come out after 1/1/2010. Get a grip guys.

WDW has published the 2010 Dining Plan brochures, which I have saved in PDF format which is MUCH smaller that the one you can DL from the WDW website. It does say it's subject to change without notice.

Don't get too upset until the final list is released. The non-Disney owned restaurants wait until much later to work out the details. This has happened in the past.

Ditto. Doesn't this happen every year? It seems like the Epcot and DTD restaurants are always the last ones "finalized". I wouldn't stress.
