Early or late breakfast @ CRT?
Are there any advantages for DD is we have an early seating verses a late seating for CRT? I have PS for CRT on an EE day but the seating is at 8 and I would rather go do rides then have breakfast. Which one is better?

First of all congrats on getting ressies for CRT. Your DD will love meeting the Princesses.
During our trip in June we ate at CRT during an EE day at 8:00am. The exact same situation you have. That morning, we were in line to enter the park. At 7:45, I asked a CM if we could get in early to make it to our reservations. He said no, because surprisingly at 7:50, they opened the gates. We made it to the Castle in plenty of time. If we would have had ressies at 8:00 on a regular day, we would have been able to walk down mainstreet alone. That would be cool. Anyway, when we got the castle we got seated immediatly. The restaurant was 1/2 full. The Princess came out around 8:15. Becuase there were not many people seated yet, we got a lot of attention and were greeted quickly. That's the good part. The bad part is you do miss out on the EE rides. In 2002 we ate at CRT. That year our ressies were at 9:30. This time the restaurant was full to the max and it took a long time for the Princesses to get to us. Even though it was packed, they still spent plenty of time with our kids. If I had to choose, I would keep the 8:00 time and get the extra attention from the Princesses. The only thing I would do different is get an early time on a non-EE day so we could get in the park virtually alone. I would love to have pictures of my family on main street without strangers in the background. Hope this helps!!! |

Sorry to hear you couldn't get a non-EE PS. Just feel proud that you got one.
My DW (Dab), DD, and I got the first available seeting on a Non-EE day once. It was absolutely fantastic. We got to see the princess's a little longer than other times, had a great breakfast, and was finished a few minutes before opening the rides. We waited inside the castle in the walk-through at a rope manned by a few castmembers. We had fun conversation and one of the CM's gave us a free walk-on ticket to any ride we wanted. With this ticket, we could go in the EXIT of the ride and hop right on. We actually used it twice before they took it (SM and BLY). When they opened the rope we were already at Dumbo. We all the fantasy land rides in under an hour, a few of them more than once. The walk to castle before the park opened was great too. There is something special about walking down mainstreet when it is virtually deserted.
