Thanks for the info Goofygal! I know there was a past thread discussing the restaurants where you can make the PS's for the package, but I can't seem to find it. If anyone can help me out, please let me know. I want to call asap! Thanks!

Thats the thread I was looking for, thanks! One more question. The restaurants that have the package for $39.00 a person, is that how much you normally would spend in that restaurant without getting a package? If the Candelight Processional is considered to be free, why are the restaurants so expensive to eat at with the package deal? I remember eating at Alfredo's for dinner (the last time I was at WDW was in 96) but I don't remember it being that pricey. I could be wrong though. Any thoughts on some other good restraurants to eat at? If the packages are worth it, I don't have a problem spending the bucks.

Candle light Processional PS's are AVAILABLE

Goofygal1975, Thank you for the fantastic link. We are going to attend our first Processional this year and a dinner package will probably take a lot of the guesswork out of it. Thank you again, and I hope we see your Blue Ribbon. We will be there 12/3 thru 12/7:) -- and in 54 minutes, it will be less than 100 days; not that I am keeping count or anything.

I've heard very little about this show. Is it really as great as everyone says it is?? If so, I wouldn't want to miss it!! :)

Candlelight Processional

wesleyba:

Last year was our first during the Christmas season and we didn't know much as to what to expect. We walked past the Processional area and were blown away. We had to stop and listen for a bit, but were on our way to a PS dinner. When we get back this trip, this will be our #1 priority of things not to miss.

I've never been to the Candle Light Processional before. I never even heard about it until I found Disney Central! I really want to see it, but don't want to be tied up w/another PS meal! We'll see what i decide to do!

I did hear also that they charge you for the meal when you call to make the PS. I can't confirm that, since I haven't called myself, but maybe if someone on here calls to make the PS's they can let us know!!

Thanks for the tip, roncss. I'll be sure to look into the details before our trip.
I always wondered what it was about. For some reason, I always thought it had to do with walking through all the countries in World Showcase, with everyone holding candles?!?! I think I was waaaaaaaaaaaay off base. :laugh

Yes,you do pay for the meal when you make your PS's. You wil get a soup, salad or appetizer, and entree, and dessert. Depending on what you order, you could easily outspend what you paid. For instance, the Italian restaurant has a 23 dollar appetizer. Pair that with a 20 something dollar entree and you have already outspent the 39 dollars you spent for the priority seats. Is the list of celebrities out yet? I won't call for a PS until I know who the celebrity narrator is.

On 12/15/03 we do the early CP at 5pm. We dine at R&C at 7:10pm. :D

On 12/18/03 we dine at Le Cellier at 4:50pm. We do the late CP at 8:15pm. :D

I am a bit bummed though, the 15% discount on merchandise is gone. So much for the added bonus. :nothing:

Mickey :)

Welcome to DisneyCentral,Teenie Beanie! Aren't you running the risk of seeing CP with the same celebrity? Do you know which celebrity is appearing when?

I don't think we will actually see the CP on the 15th. We will still save money on the package though. We looked at the current menu and prices over at www.wdwig.com and see that even with the package, we will save money. So, the 15th is more about the deal than the show.

Now, if they reinstate the 15% discount on merchandise, we will be very happy campers. Mickey

Yes,I wish also that they still had the 15% discount on merchandise. That's one of the reasons I didn't do the package last year, because someone told me they didn't have the discount anymore.
