We've been planning our October trip since early this year. My wife was told by Disney that reservations at Cinderella's Castle for a Character Breakfast had to be made 60 days in advance. She got up at 6am and starting calling for reservations on the 60th day only to be told that the policy had changed 3 days earlier and it was now 90 days in advance. And of course all of the seatings are gone. She then talked to the rep, got her boss and then her boss. He said that he would call weekly to keep in touch to tell us if there was an opening, but big suprise....no calls at all. We take one trip every ten years to the "Magical" Kingdom and now my 5 year old doesn't get to see the castle and Cinderella because of some bureaucratic decision. Guess it won't quite be the same when she's 15. I know that there are other breakfasts we could go to, but the young one really likes Cinderella and she'll be heart broken when we tell her that she can't eat breakfast with Cinderalla.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get seating or how to resolve this?:(

I am so sorry you didn't get CRT. I can understand how upset you must be. Don't give up, keep calling, something may open up for one of the days you are there. I it were me I would call every day right up to my last morning. Who knows, you may get lucky and get in. Other than that there really isn't anything you can do. Good luck!!:)

I'm sure you are so frustrated!!:( Hopefully, something will open up. There are a few alternatives. 1900 Park Fare at the GF has Cinderella there for dinner. There is also the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot although Cinderella is not one of the princesses there. BTW, I've heard that this breakfast is very good and, in my opinion, you get to meet some princesses that are not seen easily in other places. You can also try to find out where you can meet Cindy. Ask the CM's. I believe that they can call to find out when and where characters are going to be. We met Cindy at the Judges Tent in Toontown. I've also read that if you stop by the Castle around dinnertime that she is often there (although not guaranteed!). I wish you well!

Welcome to DC! Dana's suggestions are good ones. The Princess Storybook breakfast at Epcot is fabulous. We've been there twice and both times food and service were top notch! While it does not have Cinderella it is a must do for our little princess. We also ate at Cinderella's Royal Feast that Dana mentioned. It has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy & Perla and Fairy Godmother. They all walk around to the tables and spend the customary amount of time with the kids. The restaurant is lovely and though it isn't in the castle the Grand Floridian is quite a lovely setting for this dinner. And Disney Teacher is correct about Cinderella being in the castle sometimes. A friend of mine ate dinner there on 2 different trips and she was there in the lobby area to greet guests for dinner. Good luck to you. Awwwwwwe!:cry: Just reading your post broke my heart,but all of the replies made me feel better.I hope they did the same for you. I wasn't aware there were so many character breakfasts that included the princesses.
When I was in Disney lastyear,there was a show infront of the castle in the a.m. w/cinderellla and a ton of other characters.They had a meet and greet immediatley after.You might want to check into that.I can't remember what they called the show ,but it was wonderful.
Just keep coming back to DC and you'll get all the help you need.

We ate dinner in the castle last June for our anniversary and my sons were excited when they walked through the doors and there was Cinderella by het throne. They got to have their pictures made with her and nobody else was around so they had time to talk to her. Later on, we passed her in the hallway and she said Hi to them and said their names. I had to drag my 2 sons out of the castle because they had decided on who they wanted to marry.:D

Vacations are canceled five to six days out - I would call a lot on those two days. CRT also has a 24 hour policy - folks MUST cancel or be charged the deposits (if you have not been charged due to vouchers, you will be)

Anyways, I was trying to get my Dad ressies in August when we were there. I found openings both by calling five days out and almost each day, the day before.

However, we could only go during certain times, and the party size has to be exact, so it didn't work out for us. It might for you though - when are you going?
