CRT

I am within my 90 day mark in 3 days, and was wondering if this is a breakfast I should consider. I never thought of it, since I have a 22 month old little BOY and he has no clue who Cinderella is! But do you think this would be a good breakfast for us? Or should I just stick to Ohanas, Chef Mickeys, CP and the other Character Breakfasts....? Any thoughts? Have any of you ever gone with 2 year old little BOYS? If so, did they like it??? :nervous

Kim, if you're going to take a boy to CRT take them young, LOL!

Brendan was embarrassed by the Princesses at age 5, LOL.
Declan, however, was 3 at the time and he LOVED it!

You've done CP and Chef Mickey's. I think you should go for yourself, Kim, I really enjoyed it.

Aladdin does stop by too, and I think Peter Pan and Captain Hook duel outside or something.
Can anyone clarify?

Go for it Kim!

Aladdin's not at CRT very often, but yes, Peter Pan duels Captain Gook during the Cinderella's Surprise Celebratoin - don't blink or you'll miss it. :0

AJ, you're cracking me up - I do agree, if you're going to try CRT, do it when he's young. There is a really cool knight up there, and a highlight with my kids is using the 'way cool' elevator.

Personally, if you're doing it for your son, I'd stick to something like Donald's Breakfastausaurus or CP or Chef Mickeys, but what the heck, why actually do something for Mom for a change. :D :D

Kim...

I can't believe its already time for you to make your PSs.... If YOU want to do CRT, I'd do it for yourself... and like Amy said, its probably best to do it now before Nathaniel gets too old to be embarassed to be there... Personally, I am waiting for the Adventurers Meal for myself.... LOL!!!! I'm sure Eugene wouldn't mind CRT ....

Hahaha...you are probably right about that!!! Actually my PS date is Monday, just when I will be leaving for work! They open at 7am, right??? So MAYBE I will call just to see if I can get it...and MAYBE I should do it once for the experience. You're right, Amy and Anne...as Nathaniel gets older, he won't want to go! And MickeyMac, you said it perfectly....why not do something for MOM for a change?!? I think I will try to do it...wish me luck! I will need it!!! :dazed

Please don't expect too much from your 22 month old. You never know how they will react to the characters. My son, who is now almost 11, was terrified of the characters when he was a toddler.
He dove under the table we were sitting at and pulled all the chairs toward him so that the characters couldn't get to him. This was at O'Hana's. It wasn't until he was 4 and loved Tigger that he over came his fear at the Crystal Palace.

A 6ft Goofy and a 5ft Mouse can be very frighteneing.

Have a question on CRT--How expensive is dinner. Has anyone been there recently and had dinner? Wanting to do dinner for the experience but don't want to take out a loan to pay for it. Understand $25-$30 for something special. Would that be in line?:)

Yes, thanks for your help. Getting ready to do PS and did not want to do that if it was going to brake the bank. Thank again. :) :)

I love CRT for breakfast, however I've only been able to get PS once in 4 years. My advice call at least 5 minutes before they start taking priority seating in the morning (it's 7:00 am Eastern time) and keep calling. The tables go within seconds, so be prepared to call the next day or have a back up for your trip. Good Luck and don't forget to try the french toast!

We are going to do dinner on Dec 9 for MVMCP. We are going to the last seating possible and try to say in the park. I think it will be fun to have dinner there. Called couple weeks ago and they said they could seat us as late as 5:00. They will start letting people into park at 6:00 I think. We are going to make a day at MK.:heart :)
I just :heart all of DC, you all are all so sweet. I love everyone. Thanks for all of your help. :heart :) :heart :)

JeanneJ, don't worry about my toddler with the characters...we just went in August and he ABSOLUTELY LOVED the characters...couldn't get enough of them!!! He grabbed onto them and wouldn't let go! My little guy is not scared of anything...YET!!! I know I am going to do character meals when I go (that was the most magical part of my trip!), I just didn't know if CRT would be worth it. He doesn't know who Cinderella is, although I am sure he would love her just the same!!!

:laugh :) :laugh :)
