Thanksgiving Dinner at WDW

Wow time is slipping by in a hurry. I need to make ressies somewhere for Thanksgiving dinner and am looking for suggestions. We would like a traditional type dinner, but with a Disney atmosphere.

Thanks

I'm sure all the hotels will be doing something nice, and I am equally sure that you will pay a premium for it!!!

We spent Thanksgiving Day at WDW last year. We did the LTT. They serve traditional style Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes. Everything except the cranberry sauce.

You will need reservations though so if you plan on eating in the park, call now.

Hi Harry,
Our family has had Thanksgiving Dinner at Chef Mickey's quite a few times. Although, if your looking for a quiet place, this would not be the place to eat. It's a character dinner, great food and alot of fun, but noisey!!! We always enjoy going back.

Last year we ate at Gulliver's, which is located at the Swan. Very nice, good food. But in all honesty, would go back to Chef Mickey's!!!

Whatever your choice, I know you will have a great time!!:) JOANN

Wow,

I called for PS this evening and most places are booked up already! We did get lucky, there was an opening at the Crystal Palace, the CM I spoke with figures it was a cancellation and that we just called at the right time.

It is a traditional dinner with Pooh and friends, plus it is one of the resturants we have never tried before. I'm pretty excited!

Thanks all,
-harry

We did Thanksgiving dinner at Prime Time last year. It was great!! They had a traditional turkey dinner on the menu just for the occation (made by "Mom" of course:p ). It was just like having dinner with the family (if your family is still stuck in the 50's that is ;)

Have eaten at Prime Time, but never for Thanksgiving!! I know it's alot of fun anytime, so I'm sure Thanksgiving Dinner would be a real fun time!!!
As far as being stuck in the 50's , doesn't sound like such a bad idea!!!!!!!!!! JOANN:)

Congrats grumpydad. So I guess you're giving your thanks a little early! I love it when cancellations work out like that. That should be an excellent choice especially if you'll be at the MK that day anyway. Less time travelling to eat... more time for the other fun stuff!

Grumpy Dad.....you should be very pleased having dinner at the Crystal Palace. It is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is excellent.
I would like to extend my Happy Thanksgiving now for all of you folks lucky enough to be counting your blessings at DW!
For those of us counting our blessings "at home" let me be the first to wish all of us a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks all,

I am really getting excited about this trip. Initially my DW was not really up to go again this year, but between getting into the resort she wanted to try, Thanksgiving dinner at the Crystal Palace, and seeing all the holiday decorations she is starting to get into the mood. (Of course the promise of a vacation in Mexico next year seems to have helped as well :) )

I got home before her last night and threw in the Disney planning DVD. She couldn't stop laughing when she walked in the door. Next thing I know she was sitting next to me on the couch figuring out what things we have never done and want to be sure to try this year.

On the list, Food Rocks, Enchanted Tiki Room, River Rapids ( if warm enough ), Body Wars, and Mission:Space.

This should be a nice relaxing trip.

Are we there yet! ! ! !

Food Rocks was soooooooo adorable! My son and I just absolutely loved it.
Friends of ours went on the Mission: Space attraction this past July when we were at DW....they said that they would never go on it again. They said the ride made them really feel sick....
I know that each individual is different....its just that the folks I am talking about have ridden everything else and loved it so they thought that they would find the ride "thrilling" and "exciting".
Let us know your experience.
