PS for larger groups?

Hi, we are going with a group of 9 in October. Everytime I call and make a PS, they split us into two tables of 5 and 4. This is not a big deal since we have 4 adults and 5 kids but has anyone had success in getting one large seating for their group?:hmmm

Is there a secret to this?:hmmm :hmmm

We have exactly that amount of people and the did the same for us. They did tell us however, to arrive a little bit early and let them know you need tables together and there should not be a problem!!!!

Hope that helps!!!!

For our trip in August we had 8 people & it was often difficult. Some restaurants are set up for bigger groups & some aren't. I found it was basically hit & miss. For example, R&C didn't have anything for a party of 8 or larger, but Cape May did as did Coronado Springs & Mexico. If you'd rather have everyone at one table, just try different restaurants.

large dinner party

We went in 2002 to a character breakfast at the Grand Floridian hotel's restaurant 1900 Park Fare, there was 10 of us and we didn't have any problem with priority seating or getting to sit together at the same table.:D :D :D

We haven't had a problem...Our trip in 1999 included 9 and our most recent in May included 17. We were never separated at any of our meals. Our 1999 trip included Ohana's, Chef Mickey..can't remember off hand others.

Our 2003 trip included: O'hana's w/ 17, the Biergarten w/7, Hollywood & Vine w/15.

I don't know if we just "lucked out" or if my sister has a secret to her PS ressies! Maybe she'll post soon...

Best of luck!
