Crystal Palace
This may seem dumb. In all our years of Disney, we have never eaten at the Crystal Palace. I realize that it is character dining, but my youngest daughter (19) really wants to eat there. She has a great affinity for Winnie the Pooh, as the bear of very little brain ws named after our city. Would four adults look dumb eating there? Is it just for kids?

I will add my Crysyal Palace question to this thread. How long should I allow for breakfast?? I would like to make PS for the same morning I have my DH's GOAL surprise planned. His "pixie" will be waiting at 10am at the castle wishing well. I want to leave enough time for waiting, eating and socializing. It will be just my DH and I eating.
So... how long?

llama--absolutely not. We too have seen many adults with no children eating there. I took a picture for one couple with their camera and the characters seemed to spend plenty of time with them. BTW, if you did look dumb, who cares? LOL You don't know anyone there and you'll never see these people again. Eat there. You will love it!
sandanv1--I would say at least an hour. Normally I would say longer but it will probably go a little faster since it is just you and DH. I would also arrive 10-15 min. before your ps time. What is the GOAL surprise and the pixie that will be waiting for him? Just curious what this means if you don't mind me asking.

I was 24 years old at the time and I was more excited than a lot of the kids there!!! LOL..........:laugh

Sandanv - if you let GOAL know you have something planned that morning, they will modify their schedule to accomodate your seating.
We usually allow an hour to eat at CP too, but if they are booked, it can seem to take forever to get to your table. We had my dad's 79th birthday there.

I would leave yourself 90 minutes if you can so you can relax and enjoy your meal. The suggestion for calling GOAL and telling them you may be running late is good too - they may carry cell phones so you can let them know when you are almost done with the meal.
Have a great time! And maybe we will see you at the Halloween Party ;) !! Yeay! Less than a week to go for both of us!! We had better get packing!!

There is no such thing as "just for kids" at WDW. I enjoy that character meal more than my DD. The food is great and you get a good amount of attention from the Pooh and friends characters. We try and have at least one meal here every trip. Enjoy it!!!

There's no such thing as being too old for anything at WDW! My mom and I had two character meals on our last trip (Garden Grill for dinner and 'Ohana for breakfast). She's 74 and I'm 29 and I didn't care how goofy (ha ha ha!) I looked! We had a blast! Book it and enjoy yourself!:)
