Fantasmic Dinner Reservations

ONLY 18 days until our vacation at WD!!!! I was wondering if anyone has any information on how busy it is going to be Oct 12-19. I have been reading that it is currently very slow. Last year my children were too scared of the "dragon" in the show, so sadly, we missed it. This year we all REALLY want to go but I didn't know if a Fantasmic Dinner Package is a necessity or not. A

It shouldn't be too busy. With it being off-season, you may get a biggish crowd for the one showing for Fantasmic!. It's a popular show. I went last October (3rd-7th) and the line for that show were pretty imense. The package couldn't hurt. I just decided to go with one for January/February and the crowd should be less than what you are expecting, but I hate to wait around for an hour in line. If you and your family don't mind a wait for an hour or so, skip the package and eat while you wait for the show. If you all get antsy, like I do, go for the package. With the package you have to report 30min before the show and get in right away and taken to a private section to view the show. After it is let out, you get a private exit close to the main gate, so you avoid the crowd from heck. This is another great bonus of the package. Leaving with the huge crowd at the end makes me nervous. I am always afraid my DD and I will get seperated. Sorry this is the best I can do because I have not actually tried the package deal yet. I can only tell you what if offers and why I decided to go with it. I hope I helped a little.:)

Hi! I just made a reservation last week end for H&V for the Fantasmic package Oct. 6. I had no problem getting it and about had my choice of times. However, the CM did tell me that from the middle of the month on it looked fairly crowded so you need to go ahead and call if you want a PS.

Thanks! I decided to go ahead and make dinner since we have to eat anyway. I called and asked for H&V for Friday, Oct. 17 and had no problem getting it!

As a side question, has anyone ever got to the theater for the reserved seating section and been able to change seats if the crowds are low? I have heard that the farther back you are, the better the view.:D :D

Hey we are going to be there at the same time!!! I keep hearing that it is going to be busy, but I have not had any problems getting PS's that I want!!! Of course, with the exception of the CRT!:( But, we have a great week planned and hope with you that the lines are small and the weather is perfect! Who knows maybe we will see each other and not even know it!
