We had a PS for the Fantasmic Diner Package at H&V and I am so gald we did. The dinner was great, we were seated with only a few minutes wait. The salmon was delicious, the marinated mushrooms divine, the cheesecake...well, let's just say I went back and if I had room would have gone back again! Fantasmic was packed and we had a great view from our reserved section. I think everyone going should take advantage of this fantastic Fantasmic package!:D

I agree. We did H&V Fantasmic Dinner package in May and loved it! Both H&V and Fantasmic were a first for us and we will definatly do it again in March!!!

That's great to hear LRTJS! We have a PS for the H&V package in December and I was a little worried about the quality of food. Now I will rest assured that it will be worth it!! Thanks!

I am so happy to hear that Leslie! I was tossing around the idea of doing the H&V Fantasmic package, and you just convinced me, one more PS to add!;) :laugh :)

Jacki, would please either post the recipe or PM it to me? I used to have one like that from my grandmother but it has been lost. I remember it took all those bottles of red food coloring. I would love to have it. I also remember it was a 3 layer cake.

Thanks!:)

Thank-you

LRTJS, based on your review (and the others here), I just got a PS for the Fantasmic dinner at H&V. Because of Dh's fear of "boot camp Disney", it is our only PS and I can't wait to eat there. YUMMM!

Jacki, I'd also love the Red Velvet Cake recipe if you can find time to post it or PM it.

Here you go everyone. This is the BEST RED VELVET CAKE I have EVER tasted!!!! and I have tried others believe you me!!!!;)
IT IS VERY VERY RED!!!!!!

Ready?

RED VELVET CAKE

4 BOTTLES RED FOOD COLORING ( 1 OUNCE BOTTLES)
3 TABLESPOONS MILK COCOA (HERSHEY'S DRY COCOA MIX)
1/2 CUP CRISCO (I USE CRISCO STICKS)
1-1/2 CUPS SUGAR
2 EGGS
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
2-1/2 CUPS CAKE FLOUR, SIFTED 3 TIMES, THEN MEASURED *VERY IMPORTANT!!!!*
1 TEASPOON SALT
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
1 TABLESPOON VINEGAR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA

MIX THE FOOD COLORING AND COCOA TOGETHER AND SET ASIDE
MIX THE CRISCO AND SUGAR TOGETHER WELL.
ADD EGGS AND COCOA MIXTURE TO BATTER,
THEN ADD BUTTERMILK.
LASTLY ADD THE FLOUR, SALT AND VANILLA
BEAT WELL AND REMOVE FROM MIXER AND ADD THE VINEGAR AND BAKING SODA LAST, (YOU'LL GET FOAM WITH THIS MIXTURE)
BEAT THIS PORTION BY HAND INTO THE CAKE MIXTURE.

BAKE IN WELL GREASED AND FLOURED LOAF, LAYER PAN OR BUNDT PAN (MY FAVORITE) @350 DEGREES FOR 30-35 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.

I PERSONALLY LIKE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING WITH THIS CAKE, I WILL POST THAT ONE TOMORROW.
MAKE SURE YOU SIFT THE CAKE FLOUR 3 TIMES THEN MEASURE IT VERRRRRRRRY IMPORTANT!!!!
I ALWAYS MAKE THIS FOR CHRISTMAS DAY/EVE * FYI* RED FOOD COLORING IS HARD TO FIND AROUND THE HOLIDAYS SO BUY EARLY!!!

PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GUYS LIKE THIS RECIPE!!

TTFN, JACKI:)
